Oh my goodness, I wish I would have came across this video years ago, I've been disposing all my old wigs and throwing away money when I could have be doing this method all along. I can't begin to say how I appreciate you for making this video and show us women who are tired of running back in forth to the beauty supply store just to look amazing for one or two weeks, now thanks to you I learned a few tricks to keep my wigs along time, have to share this video with my two sister. After shampooing he synthetic wig, you cab add a capfulnof either Downy original scent fabric softnet into a basin of lukewarm wster. Dip the wig in and let it sit for fivr minutes. Runse the unit with lukewarm water and proceed to air dry or, if youre using a bkoe dryer, use it on a low setting to dry the unit. The unit will smell lovely and will have a nice flow.

see I love your personality. And you don't mind saying God bless you. my guy and I have gotten so close that he can gently take my wig off for me lol. I exposed him to my hair secrets right from the beginning of our relationship. He's a Greek man- a lot of men just really don't know the deal when it comes to wigs/weaves, and it can be a bit confusing if one day you see a woman with short hair and then 3 days later it's shoulder length. he just took it with an adorable curiosity, so I started telling him how it works. ever since I saw this post about a year ago I showed him how to do this. It adds more to our relationship because the things I do from day to day he can be apart of it. Ann ND If one day he sees me with short hair then the next with long, it is our normal everyday thing. I'm a newbie to the wig community and didn't want to find myself always spending money on new wigs since the reason I got them was to save money on new styles without damaging my own hair. I guess I assumed once it gets to that "doll hair" texture it's donezo. I followed the video exactly and my wig is back to how it was when I purchased it. Thank you so much for this post. I finally did a hair tutorial right and it was for a wig lol I'll take it

Great idea thank you. I've been using the fabric conditioner method or sometimes straighteners in very low heat both soften the wig but makes them shiny, I will try this out

I have a synthetic wig that's matted on the ends. Will this trick work to fix that? also I'm nervous about putting heat on it, because it's a cheap wig.

+Dia Jones if it's matted, I would recommend the way I do the wig in this video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5XXppyEf6x0p5o Hopefully it helps! There are several tricks to restoring synthetic wigs, they can usually take heat with no problems, as long as that heat isn't excessive. Thank you so much for this great tutorial! I laughed sooo hard when you said "when you tilt your head forward and it keeps on tilting with you!" LOL...that's how my favorite wig does and I hate it!!! And until I saw your video, I had no idea how to fix that. So thanks so much for the great advice...and don't pay attention to ignorant comments.
