A few of you have asked about my UI and Weakauras. The following link will take you to a spreadsheet with 2 pages. The first is my full addon list for WoW Classic and the second contains the import strings for all of my UI addon profiles.

My weakauras are definitely a work in progress, but I'll try to update the spreadsheet as I make adjustments or new additions. I'm also considering making a quick guide on how to make your own weakauras, but if that's something you all would like to see please let me know!

One thing you can do to reset is jump up on a torch and logout. It will teleport you to the start.

@@rel_128 yee give it a try. It works in most dungeons. The idea is when you are not touching the ground, the server doesnt know where in the instance you were so it ports you to the start. Every dungeon might have a little spot for the trick. Thanks again for the great video!

Thank you, soloed without any issues (similar spec, deadly brew/blade dance/saber slash runes), leggigngs dropped on my first attempt after losing rolls in full groups

Nice! On two separate occasions my group ended up 3 or 4-manning most of if not all of the dungeon, once with no tank and once with no dps other than myself. Didn’t even see them drop a single time. After that I figured I might as well give it a shot solo and 3 runs later I got them.

I recommend taking between the eyes over envenom. The boss can be stunned for 5 seconds along with the damage Its on a 20sec CD if you use it early itll be up again in snake phase. If youre having trouble killing it in time i recommend vanishing after killing the adds and opening with garrote.

I can definitely see that working, but to get the full stun duration you'd need to generate a full 5 combo points, which can take a while. I find that I get a lot more damage going and can burn him down much faster when I maintain Slice and Dice with 2-3 combo points. Blade Dance can also be very useful, as the extra parry lets you proc riposte much more often. Cobrahn's auto attacks are already quite weak, but once he's disarmed he pretty much becomes a punching bag.

Other people have mentioned it but I used blade dance / just a flesh wound and it seems more reliable. The sap wont break from deadly poison and you are much tankier

The tank rune setup is a great option for this, but this was recorded before I got Just a Flesh Wound and prior to the recent change that made obtaining it much faster. There are also some who are uninterested in tank rogue or some that want to farm the legs prior to doing the rep grind, so this video also functions to show that the solo is possible without the tank runes.

Question. I can not for the life of me get the names on the Name Plates you use. I see the Name option, but anything I attach it to does not make it show up. Any clue?

You're talking about the nameplates that show up on the enemies above their heads, right? Are their health bars showing up? Or is it just the text for the mob's name that isn't showing?

@rel_128 yeah not the name plates on their heads, the bars that are on the left and right. Left has you/mean right one has target. Has the animated profile bar.

@@H1LTO Gotcha. I believe those are called unitframes. I don't have names set to show on my unitframes, but if you want to add them you'll need to go into the ElvUI settings and go to "UnitFrames" > "Individual Units" > "Player" then click on the "Name" section and type [name] into the box titled "Text Format". You'll need to do the same in the section for your target as well. By default it'll put the names in the center of the health bar, but you can adjust the position with the sliders if you'd like.

I know, that was mistake on my part. The solo isn’t too hard but if things ever do go south you can always either use a health pot or pop evasion and reset.

this might be a dumb question but how would i actually sell these legs to someone? can i loot and trade while in WC or do i need to clear the way for them to loot? the kill is super easy but i haven't tried selling my services because i don't have any idea how the looting mechanics actually work. I don’t really sell runs or anything like that, so in all honesty I’ve actually wondered the same thing. The trash isn’t too difficult to clear, especially if you have tank runes, so I’m sure you could just clear up to a certain point to where the other person is close enough to be counted for the roll and you would just pass, but I have no idea what the people selling runs have been doing.

Sap isn't working here. When I sap him and pull snakes to the side, he still attacks me

Yeah, tried it x4 now and each time he starts sapped, but when dmg is done to the snakes, he's no longer sapped

I failed to mention this in the video, but if you’re running deadly brew sometimes sap will trigger deadly poison and break the sap. The snakes don’t do too much damage so you can still kill him if you focus them down quick, although you may need a potion. It also becomes much easier if you have the Just a Flesh Wound and Blade Dance runes, but I didn’t have both of them when I recorded this.

I don’t quite understand the correlation between the two, but I’ll try my best to answer your question. If you’re asking if you should put the points from imp sinister strike into reflexes, then no because imp sinister strike also applies to saber slash. If you’re asking if you should take the points from somewhere else, then I suppose it depends on what kind of build you’re running and you’d probably want to take points from whichever talent is least impactful if you’re really set on having that extra 2% dodge.

sadly sap triggers instant poison which triggers deadly poison. u did it very few times if u didnt realize it. so is harder than this (still soloable)

I'm aware. It's definitely annoying, but the damage from deadly brew is just too good to pass up and in my experience it doesn't seem to happen too often. The snakes don't have a lot of health so it's also not the end of the world if it does proc and the sap breaks. You might just have to rely on a health pot or gouge + bandage for that specific pull. You can also just choose to vanish and reset.

super safe way is just to kill adds, build up cp, vanish, eat up then go with 5cp start. up to you if you want to to try initially with sap, but it's easy enough to do.

I'm not sure if the most optimal thing has been fully fleshed out quite yet. I know most rogues are running similar runes, but the talents I list in the desc are definitely better suited for leveling, tanking, solo'ing things, and I've seen a few people use similar talents for pvp as well.

obv not.. in dungeons you are not parrying much since u have a tank so riposte would be dumb. this build is good if u solo farm stuff (i try with full dps build later but if I struggle i switch to a variation of this build with riposte and lightning reflexes...

I have not personally tested it, but I could see it being possible. I presume they would just stealth in as cat and then maybe switch to bear for the boss? Aside from that, I’m not entirely sure what specifically would be the best course of action once you pull.

I really didn’t use envenom at all, I pretty much just dumped all my combo points into sinister strike, so I mainly just relied on the damage from saber slash and deadly brew. However, while I haven’t really tested it, I do think it could be possible without saber or brew. Cobrahn doesn’t seem to hit particularly hard (especially if you’re running riposte and disarm him) so as long as your interrupting his casts and save evasion for snake phase you should be alright I think. It would take longer to kill him though, so you may need to use a health pot. Since you’re not going saber or brew, you also have the option of gouge + bandage to keep yourself alive as long as you’re not using any other damage over time effects that might break the stun.

Dang, I’m sorry to hear that. The better your gear, the less important it becomes to sap him since the snakes die quite quickly. You may just need to bring a potion just in case. You could also switch over to a different rune at the cost of less damage, but ultimately it’s up to you.

Thank you! I haven't really tried solo'ing much else other than this. I guess the next hardest thing after this that I've done was just farming fish oil from the level 28-29 murlocs South of Menethil Harbor, but thats about it. I've mainly been spending most of my time trying to grind out everything I need for the tank runes.

Just an update, you can actually solo Baron Silverlaine in SFK for his ring, but it’s a bit more difficult. It might be possible with dps runes, but I needed to use my tank rune setup to pull it off. I don’t currently have a link to it, but I know there’s a video out there somewhere about it since I saw one posted to the rogue discord the other day. I’ve also heard from another rogue player that was able to solo Vancleef in Deadmines, but that one also sounded a bit dicey with the adds and I’m not sure if there’s a video about it at the moment. I know he needed to use tank runes for it though.
