Thanks for the tips and the walktrough solves are especially helpful. It took me longer than I‘d like to admit to relearn all PLL and OLL for OH. In the beginning it felt like I have some sort of OH dyslexia but with practice I got much better.

Tingman, I think you’re going to really prefer my PLL for Y-perm. One of my favorites as it doesn’t feel long and it’s pretty easy to execute: (R2 U’ R’ U R U’) (x’ U’ z’ U’) (R U’ R’ U’ L U). I’ve been looking forward to this video for quite a while. I pretty much know all this, but there was one thing you said that I was anxious to learn from you. You said that at one point, OH just clicked for you, and I was wondering if it had to do with something you didn’t mention in this video. You are a bit faster than me, so I was wondering what insight you might have that got you under 30seconds. Thanks, so much for this video.

Oh thank you I'll try and practice that Y-perm! I didn't have time to go into it, but it was a combination of me spending several months with a cube always in my left hand haha, so I was always turning and fidgeting with it, so it felt very natural. And then one day it suddenly clicked, can't really explain it, and the moves felt really normal to me. Prior to that it always felt so awkward.

@@Tingman That’s very interesting, now I think that I have experienced that. I’m not as fast, but I have been keeping my favorite OH cube in the car (mostly just for stop lights) and doing OH more often at home than anything else, and I kinda recently crossed over from feeling awkward to smooth. As I think about it, planning my cross better, which I feel good at with two hands, will really improve my OH times. I have replaced most of my algs quite a while ago, but for some that are still on the awkward side, I’ll check out some of Zemdeg’s algs for OH. This older cuber (and believer) thanks and appreciates you, brother!
