Dear Ray, today I passed my PMP in the first attempt. I can't thank you much for this video and I can't emphasize enough about the part these guidelines have played in my success. Ever since I adopted these in my thought process I never scored below 80% in my mocks on PM Prepcast. Five consecutive 80% scores on Prepcast and two consecutive 80% scores on Tridib's Udemy gave me the confidence to prepone my exam by 40 days. I was able to achieve these levels almost overnight. I passed my exam with Above Target overall. My exam had 198 situational questions, one network diagram and one CPI calculation. It would have been nerve-wracking without the guidelines. Dear Ray! I finally cleared my PMP exam with the first attempt. I wanted to come back to this video which made it so clear how to tackle these so called "fishy" questions! I always used to get upset trying to understand the skewed logic behind this line of questioning. I began my preparation in Feb 2019 & everytime life would get in the way & delay my exam. I have prepared 4 times & finally I have cleared it. I finished the 4 hour exam in under 2 hours today :) Feels like a big boulder has been lifted from my shoulders. I want to commend you for what you are building here. I truly believe the niche that is needed in the PMP prep is simulation questions. So many companies teach you the 49 processes and the PMBOK book but not enough is teaching about Simulation questions. I took a class last fall and though I learned the concepts they didn't spend anytime on Situation questions. I have been afraid to take my test because of the simulation questions not because of the basic material. Keep doing what you are doing and emphasize these simulation questions and your business is going to continue to thrive. This is the most useful video that you can come across on PMP. I was able to eliminate at least two answers on almost all situational questions (about 70% are situational questions) by following the rules explained in this video, I cleared my PMP exactly 6 days ago in the first attempt and I gave my test online from home. Thanks Ray for all the wonderful videos. Test takes, make sure you practice the PMI mock as many times as possible, because that is the most authentic mock you can find and believe me the questions will be very similar and the mock gives you a heads up on what to expect in the actual test. But one thing, I found the actual test to be slightly easier than the PMI mock, in the actual test I was easily able to eliminate 3 choices out of 4 on most of the situational questions, but in the PMI mock you will see yourself stuck with two options that are very close, but don't get frustrated, if you analyze the answers deeply, you will learn to chose the correct answer.

I kind of get it. But I need more examples, I was just starting to understand. Keep in mind my Acedemic learning takes longer than most since I have a few learning disabilities. So pretty much any math question they asked I would do the math the wrong way or overthink and sink lol. I've been taking practice simulators and doing terrible, so I needed something like this as a friend who took a bootcamp class with me passed the exam using question elimination process but did not break it down this way. I will play this back a few times and practice more until it sinks in. Thank you!

hi ray - i passed my PMP exam on the 1st attempt. this video was KEY in that result. it is very tempting to read a Q and quickly ID one of the answer choices that *seems* correct. keeping each answer in play until there is a legitimate reason to eliminate it is one of the best strategies for passing this test. Hey Ray. I bought your questions and they helped me passing PMP exam yesterday. The exam contents and style have been changed. Your strategy of situational question answering is excellent. Moreover the exam now demands at least 30-40 % from Agile, hybrid and Adaptive methodology. There are 3 sections. 10 minutes break is there. I had time constraint. Out of 180 questions I was able to answer 177. You will have lot of situational questions. The questions are not at all straight forward. Even the definitions and descriptions of PMBOK are rewritten in another ways. There are lot of confusions.
