Here's some other ones he didn't mention: 0:22 U (F R' F' R) then insert OR (R U R' U') R U2 then insert OR R U R2' D' R U2' R' D R 0:58 (R U' R' U) turns it into a known easy case (R U' R') U2 (R U' R') 3:23 M U Rw U' Rw' U' M' ​6:14 (R' U' R U') sets it up for a R' U R' F R F' R insertion OR (R' U' R) sets it up for a Lw U' R' U Lw' U R insertion like in 13:15 but from behind Also if you are looking at it from the front (y2), a sledgehammer (left handed in this case) sets up an easy insert 6:29 (F R' F' R) sets it up for an easy U' R U' R' (U R U' R') insertion OR U' Lw F U' R U R' F Lw' is faster and rotationless but the fingertricks can be tough depending on your skill. 7:09 L' U L2 U' L' then insert, you don't need to move the edge to the back unless you're trying to insert somewhere else. You have to force yourselve to only look to 2 sides of the cube for your pll recognition. At first it will take a long time to reconize the pll case but when you practice more you will get beter at it.

1:34 What I do is I take out the pair and have the corner facing the empty slot. Then I do R' F R F' (sledgehammer) or inverse sledgehammer ( L F' L' F) depending on the case, then I do the easy pair case. It reduces tons of time.

3:00 Yeah for that I usually don't cube rotate, and I do a wide D like I move both lower layers and do exactly like u did. I kinda do that whenever I have a correctly oriented (in relation to me) 3 move insert but the slot is not where I want it to be, so I just move the bottom layers to get the slot in the correct location and perform the 3 move insert. 4:03 I have a visualization that’s great if you know intermediate 4LLL on megaminx. Basically, you can like you would do with CP, pretend the U F R corner is scrambled, move it out as if it were to be solved, do U’, put it back in; then insert the pair

For Apart Pair with Flipped Edge solution, a way to do it with no cube rotations is this: you put the edge and corner between the corresponding colors and then you make sure that the edge is on the front. Then, you do this: r' U2 R2 U R2 U r. It is hard to explain without showing a picture of the alignment and angle you have to put the pieces in so if anyone has a better explanation, feel free to add it. On the case at 2:15, I think there's a slightly better solution (no cube rotations) From your starting position (with the empty slot on the left side), do: U d Sledge Insert, or U d (R' F R F') U (R U R') of course, optimally, you'd start with the empty slot on the right to save yourself the 'd' move
