Thanks for this, I got the level 2 kit. I noticed you avoided covering those 6 large black screws (rivets?) in the middle with CLD but covered them with fiber mat. I'm guessing those aren't important for servicing? Hard to tell without seeing the other side of the panel.

I use a quality hair dryer to get things warm, versus hot, when I need a little heat.

I am really confused about these door isolations. Don't they just absorb moisture and rot the door from the inside out ? Since its completely normal for water to go in the door and is supposed to exit from below

Actually, dampening the door, starts with the door itself. Far more important than the doorcard. There are usually a minimum of resonance at the doorcard, its the outer panel of the door that needs attention.
