Now the real question is “what other effects are tied to the player?” Between this and the perk duping it seems polymorphing yourself during this interactions can result in some “interesting” effects.

"bug or glitch or whatever you want to call it" they're very interchangeable, the way i personally distinguish them is that a bug is the code itself having an issue, and a glitch is whatever effect the bug has. For example in this case, the bug is that the game doesn't save how much of the timer was left, only that the timer was originally 5 seconds. The glitch is that the timer resets whenever you reload the character entity (be it by reloading the game with mods enabled, or by un-polimorphing), which makes the chests never stop spawning. Another example with the recently discovered perk dupe: the bug is that the game doesn't know how to remove perks from a non-noita entity, the glitch is that if you turn into a non-noita then the game spawns the perks but fails to remove them from your perk list thus duplicating them.

I hope they don't patch this out, at least not with the Poly method. The setup is already kind of intense imo (need poly, a kuu/TK and a teleport wand or something). The restart w mods thing can go, though. I think have Steve as a guardian like w perk duping would be a sick way to keep it though

The chest rain itself is not a bug, the bug is changing the timer to make it infinite and that is patched

Can you abuse the curse of greed to spawn great treasure chests with it or is it only regular chests ? edit : doesn't seem to work. At least it can be used to obtain the heart mimic.

This one I think would be bad to remove. It requires Noita knowledge to pull off. The alchemy one gives fun stuff to do with potions. It is rewarding the exact type of experience the game gives you the ability to have. How many "broken" spell combinations are there? You can already get near infinite chests by going to parallel worlds, so why not reward the player for a little potion knowledge, and a fun way to use the telekinesis perk? Think when you lose your eye trying to do the sun quest, and have to go search chests.... A fun solution to the problem in the original world.

Guys, I just got an insane seed on Noita. I'm new to the game, so some of you might have had even crazier seeds than this. So far I have only reached the Snowy Depths (3rd floor), and decided to post this before completing the game (bed time). On the first floor I searched my hardest, but couldn't find a single heart and the wands were garbage. The first Holy Mountain was decent and I got projectile repulsion field without rerolling. Second floor was pretty normal, with a few heart spawns, which was nice. I managed to take a lot of damage so I didn't visit the fungal caverns jet. The second Holy Mountain provided me with an insane no shuffle wand with high capacity and 0.15s recharge speed (it even had a built in dmg+ modifier). There was also a chainsaw, which allowed me to make a juicy spark bolt machine gun. I decided to get blood vampirism instead of projectile speed, which paid off because of the insane wands I found on the third floor. The first wand on the third floor was a shuffle wand with a dozen nukes inside of it. (Luckily the wand capacity is too low to cast the spell, so even if a mob picks it up, you won't get killed by it.) Another wand on the third floor has about 8 spark bolts with timer, which I'm looking forward to utilizing later in the run. But the cherry on top of all of this, which is what makes this seed so overpowered, is the final wand I found. The wand is no-shuffle and has a built in blood cloud. Which allows for infinite healing (due to blood vampirism). I'm looking forward to completing the run, but I hope I have convinced some of you to give it a try yourselves. The seed is 265627182. Also thank you DunkOrSlam for making so much great Noita content. This is quickly becoming my favorite game, but if it wasn't for the helpful guides I would have rage quit and uninstalled ages ago. Also, sorry for posting this in the comment section of a 2 week old YT-video. I was just so hyped :) uwu

In my current run that I've been playing off and on for almost a year now, I was lucky enough to find a bottle of ambrosia early on and fungal shift while holding it, turning all water in my world to ambrosia. That combined with water fail and a raincloud spell I got let it become my first major God run. I've been to 3 or 4 worlds in each direction and done loads of things I've never managed to do before, including creating an infinite healing wisp and unlocking the crystal chest

Yes! You can farm more keys easily. Remember though in parallel worlds there’s like a ghost alchemist that is on the surface and doesn’t drop anything. You’re looking for the alchemist that will be spawning in its usual boss spawn location but just in a parallel world.

Like you said, even just the fact that you can move where the chests land will be a HUGE improvement for me. :) I only got like 5 chests last time I did the thing, because I was up on top of the altar. If I had just hopped right, it would have already greatly increased my loot for me. :)

I think he mentioned in another video that the devs won't patch breaking the re-roll machine. The logic being that if someone goes to that effort, then they deserve the reward, I think? Perhaps also because some quests would be nigh impossible without it.

the only downside is that you can't deal the melee damage directly with the kick

You can also fling stuff at your enemies, like the tablets you can find throughout the game, rocks, pieces of frozen enemies, pretty much anything that detaches itself from the scenery. You can also use it to pick up gold, if it's in a hard spot to get, like inside a pool of liquid you don't want to go in.

I think dunk is using telekinetic kick ability. You may be able to "tablet surf" one up but I have never tried nor seen it done

Restarting the game to use an exploit is clearly not intended code. I hope they fix this the same as Perk Duping, by summoning Steve or Scott when you poly, and remove the restarting game method.
