Thanks for another great video. Exactly! My metabolism is FAST, Emmie. Like you, my secret is to eat lots of non-starchy veggies with my starches! While listening to you, I steamed a bowl of dining room grown baby greens, which I'll top with ipot pinto and black beans (prepped after lunch), bulgar taco "meat," salsa, and fresh pico. This large-ish bowl of filling, rib-sticking, highly nutritious food has only 350 calories. When watching videos, I peddle at my bike desk. After walking my dogs two miles a day, I do some yoga or thigh master or weights. Plus, I make sure I get up and move at the top of the hour. You are so cute and fun. Thanks for a bit of community during this weird, isolated time. Have a lovely, plant-filled day. God bless.

I have an office job that I go to to sit in a cubicle answering phones. Unfortunately, I have to sit all day to work. I come home and work out for 1/2 to one hr at least 5 days a week. I wish I could move around during the day, but I don’t work from home. I’m lucky to get up and use the ladies room or get more water. LOL.

I needed this. I became vegan 3 months ago - lost some initial weight and have been in a plateau for over a month. Im doing the beach body program and so am getting a good balance of exercise in. Ive been pretty much whole plan based but I think its been not enough veggies and probably not enough protein. Ive started tracking which usually works for me but your tips are also really helpful.

Fast! This is a really great way to look at eating and metabolism. I honestly never thought about it this way. Eat more foods that are less calorie dense to make your body work harder to burn the calories. Who knew it was so simple?! No need for reverse dieting when you look at it this way.

I"m 57. My appetite and stomach capacity have decreased over time. I have to remind myself to eat. I don't eat too little some days and way overdo it other days as you said, I just struggle to cross 1000 calories each day. I'm 5"4, 131 lbs and I'd like to lose 10 lbs. I'm an active, competing figure skater. I find do better with a higher level of complex carbs than a lot of other "diet" plans recommend, which is why I"m glad I found your channel. Advice please? Many thanks for your excellent channel devoted to VEGAN food.

Fast. I stand for part of my work day and sit for part of it. I also have osteoarthritis in my knee. I move as often as it will let me plus a little more. But for every day where I'm moving, walking, exercising, out and about being human and active, it's one to two days not able to walk or stand or exercise. I agree with all you've said here and enjoy your videos a lot.

Fast 💨 I struggle to eat higher quantities of food. I love veggies, but I feel like I never have room to eat them. What can I do? For breakfast I eat 1/2cup oats, and I have rice, beans, and a potato for lunch.
