Thanks, I was hoping that I can see windows and mac at same time on the screen dividing screen into 2 parts: 1 side for hdmi 1 and the other for hdmi 2

I tried with Windows via hdmi on one side and Mac via type-C on the other side (and Mac divided) ad it worked. You need to use 1 hdmi and one type-C or display port. You can't use 2 hdmi ports at the same time.

Hi! I just checked Samsungs' website and it says: "As of now, Easy Setting Box supports any Windows devices that can be connected to at least one Samsung monitor". Hope this helps.

Hi 👋🏻 Mine is still like new, well it has a small scratch on the bezel but other than that is runs the same as new. Recently i upgraded to Samsung M8 monitor, but that curved display is in perfect working order. There are no dead pixels and all the ports work as they should. I am looking to sell mine if you are interested and from the UK 😜😁 If you go for one it will be worth it. The PBP works better than on the M8 and looks better as well. Take care 👍🏻

I had a look and tried to amend the grill or to change something, but that space is still there. It could be done by the system, without any means of changing it.

I'm frustrated! How do you get pop-ups to stay in the box you clicked the link from? I set up 3 split screen boxes. If I click a link from webpage in the left screen it automatically pops up in the far left corner of the monitor instead of the left corner of the box. I feel like I'm watching a tennis match with how much I'm looking from side to side when I'm working. Any way to fix this?

I don't think it can be done from the keyboard, as the keyboard is connected to the laptop/PC and not to the monitor. You will have to change using the button on the monitor.

It says like that on my laptop when the monitor is not connected. Check for connection and also for updates.

So, this is a (very easy) way to arrange mutliple windows on a widescreen. But how do I separate my ultrawide screen into multiple MONITORS (just like windows asks me what should be displayed on monitor 1, 2, etc. when multiple monitors are connected) ? E.g., left half of the monitor is a game in fullscreen and right side is a browser, or left side is a zoom meeting, middle is the presenter mode of power point, and right side is the power point presentation (which is not possible with separate windows but only with separate screens). I would expect this to be the number 1 basic feature, because why buy a huge 49" wide screen when it can't be used the same way as 3 separate screens next to each other? I want to buy one to get rid of my 3 screens and just have 1 for everything, but I don't find any videos on (easy) ways to show multiple separate screens on one screen. Any help?

Hi? Yes, you are correct, the widescreen doesn’t work as 2 monitors unfortunately. It can be used with 2 different deices (2 laptops or 2 PCs) in picture-by-picture mode.

My issue is this doesn't allow me to "share a screen" to my colleagues, it's just position independant windows. So either I cannot share multiple applications at the same time, either I've to share the whole width, which is useless for most of my colleagues

The purpose of the video is not to show how to share the screen, but how to arrange the windows on a screen. This split screen app is useful for its purpose. I know what you mean by not having the option to share one window, but this software is not for that. Even on Teams, you can share the whole screen or just a file.

It's such a pain in the ass because I just bought a Samsung Monitor and the software is not available for Mac OS. I wonder if I connect a Windows PC/Laptop, download the software, it should detect both computers right? Windows and Mac, Will it work? Will try it and let you guys know.

The software works only on Windows. If you want to use PBP (picture by picture - both Windows and Mac at the same time), then you can only do it by using the button at the back of the monitor.

I don’t have a M1 to test it, but i tried on my MBP and my iPad and it works… It could be a setting on your laptop that blocks apps from different websites.

I just had a look on Compatible products (on Samsung website). The closest i can get to an Oddysey G9 is LC49HG90. I thing the Oddysey is C49G90 which is a bit different. You might want to have a look at the model number and check if it compatible with your monitor.

you're not correct, on macOS you can split the screen exactly the same as Windows. Please do a better research before say something that is not correct. You jut click and hold the green button of the left corner and select on with half you want to snap this window

You can only split in half, full screen side by side (like on iPadOS). Windows has more options.

@@UrReviewBuddy sure but you said on the video that the split can’t be done on Mac, and it works exactly the same as windows. If you install 3 party software on both systems, then you get additional functionality. So be careful what you said, and not misinform people.

Split screen has been built in MacOS since Catalina (2019) :-) See Apple article how to use it. No advanced stuff, but at least as good as what we got in Windows 🙂 support.apple.com/en-us/HT204948

Hey! Thanks for the article 👍🏻, i didn’t know that! By the looks of it, it works with only 2 apps (still good for most of the people). On Windows, there is the option to use more apps at the same time. I like the app that Samsung has, it gives more options. Too bad it doesn’t work on MacOS. But on Mac i like Rectangle. It is so easy to use and very practical.
