Please don't fall into this trap of work permit. Applicant ( can be your husband or even yourself) can only apply for work permit from India if the employer for whom he/she is going to work in Canada had a positive LMIA. Agents do ask for a lot of money when they had a positive LMIA for a employer because that LMIA is used to apply for the work permit from India. It is not a simple task. If your CRS point is not enough then apply to employers in Canada for a job on your own (not by an agent). If a employer really likes your resume and really interseted in hiring you then you can tell them about LMIA. And then an agent can help your employer to get the LMIA and apply for your work permit. Once in Canada you gain 1 year canadian work experience on work permit, then you can calculate CRS points. I know it is not easy to find some employer that really want to hire an oversea applicant but trust me it is best way. Donot depend on agents that they had LMIA and can give you that LMIA for x amount of money. Be careful
