My humble 2 cents is that a huge part of the charm and appeal is the feeling of being there with you guys in the store. Anything like music or narration that's too overblown and TV-ish detracts from that. The marimba music gave it a nice atmospheric feel in non-dialogue sections, creating a more low-key documentary feeling. I can imagine there is a narration element that could also work, but like the music, very low-key and down to earth. Keep us feeling as if we're there in the daily business of the store.

The customer in this video should come back for another video because he had some great insight, genuine enthusiasm for the line and is clearly a serious collector.

Ryan and Toy Federation crew, to give you some constructive feedback on the narration rather than just saying "it sucks". The appeal of the show before was as a viewer you were just hanging out like a lot of successful YT channels. You felt like you were at the store or convention with a group of people who share the same interests. The narration completely takes you out of that. Also, you gave great insight before and if the viewer wanted to learn more, we would further investigate on our own, we do not need the narrator for that. I don't collect the vintage Star Wars 12 inch, but I must say, this episode was so informative. I learn so much from this channel and really appreciated the interaction in this one as I learned so much from both sides. The discussion on the boxes was spot on as well, as I am mostly a loose collector, if the box is decent and somewhat displayable, then I am ok, otherwise I don't really want to pay extra for a box. But that said, boxes are few and far between, so sometimes a better one is not going to come along, so you have to take what you can find. So I really can see the argument on both sides.

Dave the ebay seller/collector from Georgia: Not hating on Dave. He's like a lot of collectors, he's passionate & talkative. BTW, I always like the inclusion of the 1970-80s TV commercials. Takes me back. Ryan explaining "when plastic touches rubber too long" it softens; explains perfectly the loose hands. I appreciated Dave's willingness to share his thoughts. I would be interested in seeing some operations behind the scenes once in a while like fixing toys to make them showcase worthy.

To those who are hating the voiceover I wouldn’t say it SUCKS but it does take away from that homey feeling from previous videos. The rawness of the commentary while observing the toys in front of you being appraised/bought in is what makes it feel so comforting. The voiceover explaining things takes away from that. That’s my only critique. I’m sure there was some extra time put in editing adding the voiceover but I would maybe find a happy medium. Add it only in videos that don’t give you the full context of the trades etc. Great episode nonetheless! 👍
