Maybe he wasn't supposed to be selling that stuff.. Pulling the playmobile ship was odd.. he says, "My daughters still play with it." Meaning, my wife will definitely notice it's gone.. is what I'm thinking. Maybe it wasn't his collection. Either way, fun video as always.

You are the toy industry in general,i see the seriousness behind this man over those toys and can say with ease he knows what he is doing and saying about those! We had back in the day two toy companies in greece, lyra toys & el greco! The first one was put on fire as the means to close the company and claim the money from insurance ashes, the other one sold to hasbro their patterns because your company was so impressed from the quality we had in el greco! Now they own a big chain of stores that called jumbo and were selling at first clearly toys, now they changed most of the store to home stuff with toys as well! The toys were selling back then was genuine lines but also lots of chinese products which killed even more the original market in my region! You see parents wanted cheaper toys and our toy market was sinking in the quick sand really fast. The only income from original toys are always comes from you first, and of course some other sources like lego, playmobil & stuff!

I think the issue arises when ppl are not in a selling mood and merely trying to get an appraisal or an estimate for a collection. It then becomes a question of wasting time, in which case both parties need to be well aware of the investment ie time. While the seller is in no way obligated to sell, the buyer is not obligated to offer valuable and insightful knowledge for zero return.
