You ever get a kia h4r “high chroma red” i have a custom formula that the axalta reps spent 5 days making. I spent a week tinting they spent a week remaking a new formula. But they never put it in the variants options.

You can save it in ur special color library, then take a photo of the spray out and add that to special color.

Have you tried the new 9100 for your candy colors?

I haven’t tried that. I use the 9045-9057 dyes for my clearcoat on candy jobs. How is the 9100. I have heard people mention it.

@@everyday_painter the 9100 uses the same Dyes just doesn’t use clear coat. It’s cheaper than clear coat of course but also doesn’t take that flash bake before clear coating

I use the dyes, but actually still have some leftover MC002, which is the premade, just add hardener and reducer.. for the 46V at least

Beautiful job. Question: that sata rp for clear with the 1.3 do you open the material all the way? What are your settings in that gun?

Yes. I spray full fluid for every gun and every material. For RP clear I spray full fluid full fan at 30 psi. Thank you for watching!
