Cheap Nail polish remover worked with such ease it removed black tint window paint in my car with no effort at all no one in all the car mechanics on KZbin even suggest this simple solution

Warning to others to test the acetone/nail polish remover on a hidden area first. It dissolves many plastics! (I use it occasionally to plastic weld acrylic, abs, and some other"unknown" plastics. Random tip: You can make a paste with abs plastic shavings dissolved in it to make a goo for repairing broken plastic parts.)

how do i take off the lens tint if any overspray got on the paint of the car? I tried oil and worked somewhat but not completely. Any other suggestions?? Thanks!

nail polish remover, or brake clean, i used non chlorinated, which is acetone, basically nail polish remover. im sure it will eat the paint a little. oh well

Crystal Miranda I mean yeah you can do what ever you want haha :) , but with the tint spray I would recommend doing it on something that you would still want to have light be seen through that way your using it for its purpose !

Honestly bro for windows im not to sure , I see. One guy do it on his page , don’t think they where serious though , I know they put tons of coats and it wasn’t to bad ! But again I have never done it so I’m not to certain on that one bro I’m sorry :/

Honestly no just because the tint spray is super thin and I can almost bet it would just show and mold right over the peels on the lights bro , maybe you would have to go with tint wrap since it’s a little bit thicker , and that all really depends on how bad the peel is !

Just take some 1500 and soapy water and wet sand them smooth until all your peeling and oxidation is gone it’s super easy then just give them a good buffing with some decent compound they’ll look good as new and be ready to tint

Does this block as much light as a dark smoke tint film, i have tint film on my headlights and i got leds and cant see anything, will this let me see at night?

Over headlights is always risky bro I actually took mine off the volvo cause I couldn’t see :/

yeah the best way to go is to just get some dark colored headlights, the tinting shit just aint worth it
