I really liked the warm up routine, I can see the benefits of it, also starting strength with Mark Rippatoe is a brilliant in depth technique improvement tutorial that really helps make squatting a lot more easier, helping with increased reps and loads.

I find a big difference for myself and others between, 'opening from the groin' and 'pushing the knees out', with the former leading to far better technique 👌🏼

Be interested in your opinion on Stan Efferding squats. He says about replicating the position you’re in when you stand out of a chair you naturally tend to lean more forwards? Also more stable he likens it to if someone was to jump on back how stable be upright torso versus leaning forwards more but still upper torso rising same time as hips no hitching. Thanks well done on BSM.

Hi, Adam! Very nice to get some more inside strongman knowledge, as I am a novice strongman but coming from years of powerlifting training and competing. Question: How does your squat programming change from when you off-season/far from competition to when you get closer? Cheers from Denmark, Thomas-

My squat has always been embarrassing, my chicken legs are famous! I'm looking forward to implementing some of these cues and hopefully build up to something decent! Another great vid!

Starting strength is good for getting big legs with just squats, but you gotta squat 3x a week

Can you suggest a home work out? While the country is on Lockdown would be good to see what a Strongman would suggest to do while stuck in the house.
@adambishopstrongman44714 жыл бұрын
scotthartley1 Plenty of other people have posted home workouts so I’ll leave them to it. If you go on my IG Story I’ve linked one of the sessions I’ve sent my players to do with minimal equipment.

I asked another popular strongman this question but got nothing back. So What amateur strongman comp would you recommend for a first timer who lives in West Yorkshire? Loved the video too. Thanks
@adambishopstrongman44714 жыл бұрын
Jay G. Sorry I have no idea. I haven’t looked for grassroots strongman comps for years now so I’m kinda out the loop. I think they are posted on Facebook but I have no clue.

Rory Long No need! You can practice your squat technique at home with a broom handle. You don’t need weights to follow the technical cues outlined in the video

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16-18
