Hey Mark. I tore my meniscus 2 years ago, and only had surgery 4 months ago. I haven't been able to squat at all in the past 2 and a half years because of this; whenever I get anywhere near parallel it feels like someone is stabbing me in the knee. sonic34314 True. Squat and deadlift are overcomplicated. Coan doesn't squat with textbook style. Do whatever you gotta do to squat and get back up without losing balance. You'll find out for yourself what the best bar position is, stance width, forward tilt etc. They all depend on one another and time will learn what works for you.
@akw13128 жыл бұрын
True but there is a certain point where everyone can do the same thing and benefit from it. Every one is either going high bar or low bar, that's it. So, I think we can take pieces of info from each squatter such as the squeezing all muscles as Coan was saying, it's important to do that when lifting anything over 315 IMO... But yes we are all differet, yet, we can all learn from listening to squatting advice.
