how to make, stack/assemble a 1.5 kg two tier cake..
prepare the cake batter for 1.5 kg cake and divide it in 2 cake tins- 8" & 6"
cake boards used - 10" & 6"
make both the cake tiers
place the bottom tier on a 10" cake board(8" cake)
insert cake dowels or straws to support the top tier as shown
place the 6" cake board with a hole in the center over it
lift the top tier cake with the help of a pallette knife and place it on the 6" cake board that we just placed on the bottom tier
now insert a cake dowel or straw from the center of the top tier till it touches the bottom cake board.
Decorate as desired
make sure that both the tiers of the cake are chilled in fridge for at least an hour before you assemble the cake.
after assembling the cake, keep it in the fridge for at least an hour so that it sets perfectly
