How to Stamp Nails Perfectly Every Time | Stamping 101

Today I'll breakdown the process of stamping! I have avoided stamps for so long because of all the turmoil it caused me, but I faced my fears and conquered them. Lol. I'll show you the process of how I stamp flawlessly (uhh most of the time) and why you may not be getting the design of your dreams.
Stamping is finicky as heck, but that doesn't mean it can't be done!
I am using the Clear Jelly Stamper stamping system today. This is the Bling Cubed stamper and the "Adventure Begins" plate. The floral plate is unfortunately unavailable but I got it from AliExpress :)

Stamping is just the worst art to work with in the world. And it can give the most beautiful designs, the possibilities are endless and its my favorite thing to watch... lol Such a love/ hate relationship going on. Do you find that once you got it, and you can do it, snap, boom, pow - that, 3 months later, when you go to do some more stamping, you gotta learn all over again??... lol It's like wait, why isn't this working?? Right? I got over excited when I first learned about it and bought so many plates only to rage quit 😂 glad I stuck it out though, once you get it, it just clicks!

I would give them another go.. It's worth it, once you get it, It opens your world up to a whole new level of art. You can create art with stamps that you cannot do with the hand. In nails we say there is a, 100 set rule. It means you'll need to do approx. 100 sets of nails, before you know what, you're doing. 100 set's before everything just clicks, and makes sense. Everything actually has a number, no matter the task, that's why we say, practice makes perfect... So, keep going, keep trying. Get different stampers too. Not just 1 clear, and 1 red. Not all clear jellies, are made equally, rectangle will work differently than round, and 2" will work differently than 4". There is quality too, not saying only buy the $50. ones. But try different brands, READ REVIEWS!! And like Jen said, some are gonna be better, for each kind of design. I find my Marshmallow stamper works great on patters like plaid, where my round clear jelly, not so much. And also plates make a difference of course, like Jen said - Plastic ones suck... lol I had one plate, no matter what I tried, I could not pick up the images (butterflys) I tried everything, every stamper, every polish, every direction. Someone suggested the plate, so I took a good look at it - and it wasn't etched very deep. It was impossible to ever get and image. So, I learned then in there, make sure you get good plates. Ones that come with that cardboard/plastic backing, that you cannot remove, means the company has put money, into their plates, so those will be good ones. Anyway, this is a novel and I sure you need a bathroom break. I hope that helps, and I hope you stay with it. 😊
