i think you could even pour a little clear soap into the crevice after you put on the mica powder. it would keep it in!

@anjelica220510 жыл бұрын
New to Soap Making, if i'm understanding this correctly you let the soap cure for about 4 weeks, you cut it out of the mold and then stamp it correct? Great video!
@bramble-berry10 жыл бұрын
Hi Anjelica! I would recommend letting your soap sit for 3 days to a week in the mold. Once you remove it from the mold, and the center of the bar is firm enough to cut, I like to cut my bars and let them have 4-6 weeks to cure. You can stamp your bars anytime after they are cut, although it's often easier to let them harden a bit =)

Would the mica flake off and move around when the soap is put inside of saran or shrink wrap? I'm not going to be stamping the soap but want to paint a design on the top with mica. Also, any tips on how to apply non-toxic acrylic paint on soap's surface?
@nemdragon64454 жыл бұрын
How long does the stamped on mica stay on the bar of soap? Does it wash off immediately the first time the soap is used?
@RiverCountySoapworks11 жыл бұрын
I'm a little confused. In the video your soap is at a perfect consistency to stamp at four weeks and then you say the soap logs are perfect to stamp when freshly cut. I'm trying to figure out stamping for one of my wholesale customers and feeling my way through using a stamp. Thank you

ok so if i were to sell soap online and someone orderd a bard of soap,i would have to make a loaf of it...do u think if i packaged the other bars (thats not sold yet) in shrink wrap and shrink it it would last a while?

do you have a video on how to keep things like oat meal suspended throughout the entire soap and not settle to the bottom ? thanx :)
@joshuasantelises74078 жыл бұрын
with a melt and pour, how long should I wait exactly? did you actually say 4 weeks??
@bramble-berry8 жыл бұрын
+Joshua Santelises With melt and pour soap, you can stamp it as soon as the soap is cool and hard! That takes a couple hours, or up to overnight. Then, once the soap is unmolded, it's ready to stamp. =)
