Thanks Johnny. I had everything you suggested except .... Insurance One, more thing GOD BLESSED me with A REAL catchy name. Before, I end I was able to pattern my charges after you with making price adjustment. How or where can I go to see it again. Yours was VERY HELPFUL and HINTFUL. The most I ever charge for a lawn was 70.00 I haven't had one were it was cause for more. I could share more. I JUST want to hear from you. Nor do I want to get over zealous with my price. Tag you it and THANK YOU AGAIN.

Hey Johnny - This is really impressive content! Brand perception is a huge aspect of selecting your business name, and you explained it so well! That liability insurance is absolutely key! No one ever thinks things will happen until they do - it’s always unexpected. Thanks for the great video!
@midwestgroundup84033 жыл бұрын
Good stuff Johnny. If you don’t mind me adding to the great content that you have provided. 1. Name, easy. AB lawns will likely put you first in the local algorithm. 2. $110 in Georgia or $35 in Wisconsin, the price is nothing and gives you passage to unforeseen circumstances like, PPP, EIDL, or daily business benefits such as wholesale pricing, local vendor networks etc. 3. General Liability Ins. Can easily be purchased for as little as $500 per year, that’s $125.00 per quarter or less than $39.00 per month with adequate coverage. Cough (Hiscox). Sorry for the plug but I did it for the greater good of the community. 4. Tools and equipment, you can become a world class gardener with as little as a bucket and a pair of shears and pruner. Water hoses and time. It all depends on your goals. 5. Marketing to your skills and the most powerful word in my experiences has been no. This has saved me time and energy. * If you don’t mind, I’d like to add. The info in this video is indeed valuable and the benefits will last you throughout your career. However, it will seem challenging at the beginning but the benefits of proper pricing is of the utmost importance. In my opinion, no matter the region, a minimum of $25.00 per man hour, that is a minimum, that means each man/woman per hour and equally important is.. at least $10.00-$25.00 minimum per hour per piece of equipment being used, again per hour. We use a blower, snow blower, chainsaw, power rake, bagger etc., $25.00 per hour for EQ. Peace

Only thing I would respectfully disagree with is the number 4 rule of not buying equipment until you have the account. If you really want to do this line of work for a living and not just another side job, put your ass on the line and make a big investment. It will force you to become better. Unless you have a truck, a trailer, and a zero turn you can borrow at a moments notice, you don't want to have to scramble to buy a truck, a trailer, and a zero turn at a moments notice so you can secure the account. I understand and agree with his point here only to a certain point. Be smart with everything. You don't have to go overboard. But I will stand by this point until the day I die. And that point is to put your ass on the line. Make your money and commitments force you. And make damn sure you have passion. Passion is the number 1. If you don't have it, don't attempt this business. You have to love what you do in order to be successful. If you don't, don't waste your time and money.
