I love snail farming it's a good hubby one can do it for home use and also commercial purposes since one snail can lay as much 300 eggs in one day lf well managed there is so much gain Snails are called Ejula in my dialect Kudos to you brother !

Everyone says touching the eggs prevent them from hatching..that might be the case (yet to see a conclusive proof). However, it'll be interesting to actually go deeper and ask why this is so...do we transfer some sort of pathogen to the eggs that disrupt them in some way...hmm

Cocoyam leaves and plantain rotting stems are very good for them and also plant some cocoyam so they can hide under the shade

Thank you so much for this video. I have watched a few videos on snail farming and in all the other video's, they have stated that it is not a good idea to be touching the snails with our bare-hand or even breathe onto the snails but we should be wearing gloves and masks, but in your video it is not mentioned. That being said, I am in the UK but I have a house in Oda. I would be interested in getting in touch with the gentleman for training and business purposes. Your snail farm is not protected against ants, and other predators like snakes, rats, etc. You need to secure it with trenches around the farm.

I pick snails for sale sometimes while feeding them i find a lot of eggs don't even know what to do with them. Non of the eggs have ever hatched
