BEST ART ADVICE I’ve seen thank you so much Kayla 🥰 Now at the age of 63 I want to start my own art channel knowing that ‘being real’ is fine rather than all polished and perfect 😜 wish me luck….

Great content Kayla, thank you for sharing!! I am doing dropshipping as a side hustle (started with almost nothing), and it's paying off last few months. I have really good income that I am considering to quit my regular job because I don't really like it xD. Consistency and hard work will always pay off at the end (with a little bit of winnerzilla).

Thank you for this video. I have been considering offering prints of my art. I had several people ask for prints, one as recent as today. This is valuable info. My next question in the process is how are you photographing your art? Do you take the pictures yourself with a camera or hire a professional ? Thank you for the information.

I think offering prints is a great way to make revenue from your paintings long after you complete them, and also reaches a new price demographic too! I personally take all my print photos on my iPhone. Sometimes if I need a touch-up I will edit them in a program on my computer called Corel Painter.

Very helpful video. Would you consider making a video on how to light your artwork for websites and prints? I’m having glare on my paintings and it’s negatively affecting my sales. Love your content!

I just got this channel randomly recommended to me. Your art looks great. Sadly, I suck at it. Maybe the algorithm decided I needed to order a print to hang up in my living room?

Have you had any quality issues with printful? I love the idea of POD, and maybe I’m overthinking (a common occurrence 😅), but quality has been a concern for me when choosing a vendor.

thanks for the info but i've sooo many questions. I've been selling printables on Etsy & the I.P theft is now out of control, I've had everything stolen, so i want to migrate onto POD but looking at this is a bit confusing, espec' on how to use a one size print for all the different ratio's. But ok, no biggie. The one that I just can't seem to get any answers to though is - how do i create a gallery wall/or set of 3? All the money is in the sets, I don't really sell that many single prints. All the info on multiple items in one sale is about t.shirts or hoodies, they're covering two different clothing items. How would I do it with a gallery wall? Is that possible? thanks

I want to sell prints but I still think about the logistics regarding shipping. Living in an island is a bit complicated.

I've currenlty hit a wall desperately seeking a website/platform for fine art photos to dropship, so thank you so much for this info! But I'm also in search of a website/platform just to get started, then heard you say, "Weebly on my Square website". Is that... sorry, can you clarify? I'm familiar with Weebly and Square, Square Up, Square Space... but not sure what you meant. thanks!!
@KaylaCarlileArtАй бұрын
I was using Weebly originally, and they got purchased/acquired by Square. I did recently decide to switch over to Squarespace and I am loving it so far!

I do this here in New Zealand. My printer adds my business card to orders if I request to. The problem is, that shipping overseas is expensive. I could potentially use a printer based say in the USA but then, that could also create a tax nightmare.

Are those prices for canvas prints or just paper?

How do you know what the print ends up being like? Ie quality, colour being true etc. I ask as even printing myself, the colour are not true so i have to mess with them to get the print to reflect the original.

95% of my sales come from social media, but I am also a vendor at the local Saturday Market! In my beginning years I sold a lot of art there.

Thanks for this! Question, I sold prints on another site, I set my price then when a print sold they took 50% of my profits for advertising, which was not disclosed that they did this. Does Printful do the same? Thanks!

I am having such a nightmare, I've uploaded an A1, but I can't alter the ratio for it to fit with the other sizes on Printful, the 16 x 20 inch is way out. It will cut either too much off on the bottom or the top for it to fit. Do you have any advice? How do you either resize or upload another size? Can I only use one size for all the different ratio's? How to 'unlock' the size so that I can alter it? There doesn't seem to be a way to do that? Help, please!
@latteoatmeal780729 күн бұрын
nevermind, it can't be done. I'm not impressed with this with Printful, I wonder if I can on Printify.
