As an artist myself, I remember coming across an animated story time channel back in elementary school. It was then I knew I wanted to do the same. I initially started posting my artwork around when I first started 6th grade. Granted I wasn't very good at it as I was still beginning but now here I am graduating this year at 17 seeing a possible future in an art career thanks to my now 6 years of experience posting my hobby online. I don’t earn money off of my channel as it isn’t monetized but I hope to reach that goal within this year and to make a living off my passion soon 🧡

I often find myself amused by how human brains work when I catch myself making a move that shows how many of our actions are shaped by relatability and that even I can't escape that primal drive sometimes. I have seen a few videos of yours and found them all valuable, but I didn't subscribe until now, where one specific sentence made me suddenly hit that button, as if I was struck by a sense of duty, feeling happy to support you but also silly about my simplemindedness at the same time. We are such simple creatures sometimes, haha. Lots of supportive energy to you!

The whole thing has flipped, where the art itself even isn't the most valuable product for many artists. Even weirder is that you could be making a living exclusively from content that is essentially free for your "customers" (viewers/subscribers) that depicts how to make art and paintings, and those paintings you don't even have to sell (if digital content is your true product now). It's just wild.
@KaylaCarlileArt7 ай бұрын
Exactly! It really is crazy to think about. 😳 Now you can monetize the process of the creation rather than the product!

That's an interesting point of view. In an era where A.I. are everywhere, the human touch is valuable. Of course, after you study the tool and know how to come up with good prompts, where is the fun on that? AI creates in seconds. There're nothing entertaining in that. However, people creating takes time. It's not about the end, it's about the process, the journey. So, the process...that is fun and interesting! That is the actual entertainment!

People creating Ai art are not necessarily artists! Unless you’re an actual artist using Ai to aide your art. I don’t consider Ai generated art as art. It’s creative prompting by many people who couldn’t comprehend the time, years of practice and in many cases sacrifices and dedication that it takes to create. Creative people are not made, most of us are born into this calling and have generations of creatives in our bloodlines.

Is it making art that is attracting people to channels or the videos about how to make money and how to start a youtube channel? I worry, the only thing to grow my channel is to start talking about how I make money on youtube..unfortunately I don't yet so that isnt even an option.

Thanks, this is pretty inspirational but I'm not sure if I can actually do it. How long does it take you to make these videos? I'm not sure I have the time, even though my painting is good enough. I worked in the studio of a famous painter for over a decade, making very expensive highly realistic paintings (he would put his name on them and sell them for a lot of money, but we were the ones who actually painted them). I have the skill that I think people would watch on KZbin and maybe even buy courses. But I simply don't have the time to do my regular job, make these paintings (I paint slowly), and then also make videos. I figure I have about 20 to 25 hours a week of free time that I can dedicate to my art. If a painting takes me 40+ hours, then I also have to spend time shooting and editing, then I simply don't see how I can finish these paintings and videos in a decent amount of time to make enough content to get enough viewers and make a living.
