Something worth noting when using pva glue, it NEEDS air to cure. So it’s best to use small parallel line of glue to get the best bond. If you cover the whole area with pva the stuff in the centre will never cure.

I started with one of those boxes! One with even less stuff inside 🤣. Great use of what came inside! Oh a tip for the sand, I use horticultural sand, 20kg bag. Put it through sieve, you get a find sand & small rubble.
