There are so many good answers. I feel like I learn a bit more about the overall culture by hearing many people's answers.

It is pleasant to approach people in Japan as they are quite friendly. I wish I could speak the language as it would be more effective in building connections. Since I have recently returned from my second visit to Japan, I am determined to put in more effort to learn Japanese.

Enjoyed this video. Sayuri is nice name. Do Japanese girls think of Nikkeijin man from USA as gaijin? I have 100% Japanese blood and my family was part of Taira clan from Heian period, but I am born and raised in U.S. Also girl at 11:41 said foreigners should get used to dashi. LOL. I would have said foreigners should get used to smell and taste of shoyu. Even Nikkeijin born to love shoyu taste. Many times Hakujin or other non-Japanese don't like the smell of arare snacks because of shoyu. Thanks Sayuri.

One could say the language, the culture, the age but in my opinion it depends on open-mindedness. Smart people do not impose their ideas and have no prejudice.
@boomguitarjared7 ай бұрын
That last bit of being open minded is important, but it's equally important to have some principles you generally don't compromise on amidst that open mindedness, as people are weak without them.
@Zenkyuu89217 ай бұрын
I don’t know, I feel like the open-minded phrase has been run into the ground. Yeah, I agree with coming in and being receptive of differences and adapting to the other person’s problems is important, but I still feel like it’s just as important to stand on your beliefs as you filter which ones you allow in and out of your life. I feel if it’s for you, then it’s for you, and it shouldn’t be so much of a struggle and conscious effort to be able to accept different lifestyles, especially if you already admire it. Some things are just wrong or aren’t for you, and it’s okay to believe that or find someone else that agrees with you. I don’t know what it is, but something about that phrase puts me in a cautious state about people.

I think the Language barrier would be the biggest problem, I haven't ever been to a foreign country and trying to learn a different language, especially for dating I think if they don't know English that would be a huge downside for me. I wouldn't mind visiting japan but Since it isn't an English-speaking country I would just go to a country where English is more spoken.

@SansaStarkw7 ай бұрын
I think it might be too difficult if you can't live in Japan forever, and I don't know Japanese so that would be a huge issue. plus I wouldn't mind visiting another country especially maybe for love but I would want them to come back with me to America. and I wouldn't mind visiting Japan I just don't think I would look for a relationship I love the passport bros idea but it's likely easier for me to meet someone in America or at least convince them to come back to America or maybe that doesn't matter, Either way, I just think if Love happens then don't run from it.

“SUBERB” video! Please could you do a video on whether Japanese woman would date and marry Indian men? Maybe, interview “Ellie Uchida” and get her opinions on what she thinks of Indian men? Thank you

I went on a date with a girl named Sayuri in Chicago, we went to a movie then got some cake, both had a good time, then she ran away got in a cab. I had her number, but did not call for about a month, Then she seemed happy and glad to talk, I did not make a new plan, though maybe all Sayuri are so beautiful.

Of course they are. I would say even more so than other races depending on the nationality. More likely to have things in common and less problems with parents for example.

Yeah they seem shallow and too focused on looks. They'll end up overlooking someone potentially great for them. I know I've done that a few times when I was younger.
