I’m 23 I’ve loved animals all my life, my family had a horse when I was a kid but he had a bit of an attitude problem, so I was only ever allowed to ride him with my dad riding him with me, or leading him. It’s always been a dream of mine to learn how to ride horses and now that I’m old enough with my own income I’m looking for a riding teacher, I’m excited to final reach for my dream! I’ve already started my “first lesson” I just havnt actually rode yet lol this lesson my trainer just taught me how to lead a horse, how to groom them, and how to tack up. It was an hour lesson but it felt like 15 minutes and I’m so excited to go back to get on the horse I’m working with 😁😁

I have been around horses for about 3 years now but wasn't allowed to ride. Now the rules have changed and a few select people are going to be taught how to ride. I am one of them! I have certainly put a lot of time and effort into grooming them, etc and learning as much as I can about them on my own... So this was big and unexpected news!

Haha I really neglected the fact I was from a horsey family, my mum is an eventer and I decided I didn’t like horses for the first 8 years of my life but I still went down to the yard and mucked our and stuff. But since I was 11 I started horse riding and it’s really annoying because all the people my age are so so much better because they’ve ridden since they were 2!

At my stables, we have lessons private, semi private and at least 30 minutes lessons. We have pony club on a Thursday and saddle club on Saturday and Sunday. Saddle club is mucking out, tacking up, leading and lots more. You have to be 10 years old at least. You don’t have to have experience but it would help and wear the right clothing. I am 12 now and I have been going for 1 and a half and i have been at my stables for 6 years, rode for 6, pony club for 5 and saddle club for 1 and a half. I have met my best friends and I love it so much. Especially when my favourite pony is the best to learn on and I get to lead him with young children and it’s so amazing. My favourite is the gentlest and never spooks tho he is very lazy. He’s so good and great for riding

I’ve only rode a horse twice but I really want to do it.. I just have never had the chance to take lessons or do anything. I’m 14 now and I’ve wanted to ride ever since I was 9. My parents said they would never buy me a horse or anything like that. I just don’t know where to start or go in my area. I’m really nervous because I was never taught on how to ride a horse or anything. My friend has horses and I’ve rode one of them. I just don’t know at this point. I feel bad for bugging her about it I’m just really in love with horses and they are my favorite animals. Anyways sorry for ranting this is just a really big dream of mine. Thank you for the video! To stay home I had to pick something to do and as a kid and even now I always liked horses and I like them. I didn't know what sport or anything to do so I picked Horse riding because It's the only thing I can really think of, I get anxiety pretty easily so I can't to anything like soccer or baseball..

Love your video. I just subscribed to it. All my life I loved horses. Dreamed of owning a horse, and even as I was growing up at one time wanted in very younger years be a jockey. However, in the 70's there were no such thing as a girl jockey. I know my parents wouldn't even permit that due dangerous outcomes. So then I decided to like the field of Veterinary Equine Medicine. However, I never found the right people /schools to steer me to this profession. My grandfather had a small ranch in which he had horses cows and other livestock. When I was as I can remember at age maybe 4 years of age he would get his horse and for 5 minutes the most give a ride. Never knew how to drive a car now that I'm an adult but always longed to learn to ride a horse. I'm 65 turning 66 on March 25th. My daughter gave me some riding lessons to take, thank God. ( it was a Christmas gift ) and I took my first lesson this last Sunday 21 st of March. It was an answered prayer, and like a dream come true.
