Now that is what I call an *Beginner* guide. Informative, yet simple and easy. And yes, that is actually quite an hard thing ... can't count how often I have seen beginner cooking videos with recipes that already needed special cooking knowledge or beginner workouts that even average fit people would find insane. XD Also her fashion sense is awesome :)

I actually plan out my meals for the entire day before having breakfast. I find it a good way to track my calorie intake and avoid impulse snacking.

How did you know at the beginning what kind of containers you needed ? How many do you use each week ? I want to start meal prepping this week. I go grocery shopping each saturday when I’m at my dad’s home, and I come back home late on sundays so I would cook on monday evening (for monday’s lunch, I would just eat bread and cool things on it). I would cook once for monday to friday meals (lunches and dinners only), but I’m not sure of what kind of containers to buy for a start. We are two, so for example this week since we are going to eat bread on monday for lunch, and two other days, we need 12 portions of meals in total. Does that mean that I have to buy 12 containers ? I already have some in my cupboards but they are all different in size etc and it kinda bothers me a bit, also I think they are a bit small ! What should I do ? Thanks for your video !

I am a vegetarian. I cook daily or my family member do it for me when I come from office. But we eat healthy diet. For e.g. in breakfast we have groundnuts or other nuts which were kept in water for overnight, milk or homemade paneer, some fruits. In lunch wheat chapati, cooked vegetables and buttermilk. Evening soup, mostly spinach or tomato soup. In Dinner, 🍚 rice bowl accompanied with pulses and cooked vegetables. We keep medium spices in our food. Lastly milk shake or turmeric or ginger milk. Around 7 glass of water in a day. I am in process to gain weight. I daily watch and perform your work out videos. I am 165 cm and weight is 53. Please suggest any modifications I need.

You have to up your calcium by 150mg for every cup so you might want to supplement when you drink it

Half of asia including Japan is consuming plenty of green tea and their diet is considered to be one of the healthiest. Never heard about this being an issue there.

I consider this video to be maybe the best you've ever done. The advice is direct, practical, and do-able. Your presentation was clear, engaging, and presented with lots of energy. At the start of this summer, my MD told me to lose 16# by my October app't. I have made that goal and I found meal prepping and calorie counting was essential to success. I also got a lot of use out of buying a decent, not expensive food scale to measure my proteins and carbs to stay within my target goals. At this stage I don't much care about proportions, just total calories. My future goals are too ramp up my exercise program (partially so I can eat more!) in order to begin moving some body fat into muscle mass. I firmly believe that maintaining mental acuity, avoiding obesity, and retaining both some muscle mass & joint strength and flexibility are pretty much the formula for health. You are appreciated. Thank you so much.

Tracey T 4 days is fine. People get grossed out because we’ve all been made into germaphobes or bacteria phobes. Anything I don’t eat within 4 days goes in the freezer

Its frustrating when i literally dont know what to cook i dont know how to cook . I basically eat everything but limit them and more dancing a working out . Is that ok ? I dont eat much junk foods tho nowadays i dont eat in restaurants i just eat what my mom prepare , instesd of softdrinks i drink hot warm water

And before you do any of this make sure your fridge is cleaned out and the kitchen is clean & clear. Sucks to plan and go to store and on top of prepping and cooking you have to clean fridge out.

That's basically what I'm already doing while living in the dorms. I'm too lazy to cook every single day and don't always have time either, so I prepare food for 2-4 days. Prepping is time and energy efficent. You would spen about as much time and energy cooking smaller amount of food. But meal prepping won't work, if you prepare food for many people....

For a family , the place taken in the fridge can be too much. So , I only chop, bake, everything for the days to come and separate everything in boxes. Later, I just have to mix or finish cooking.
