One thing to note is that in the recent patches, visage's nuke was buffed. When heroes take damage, the damage is considered before reductions, which means that the nuke goes to max damage much faster :)

Besides the Ai, this is a pretty helpful guide to get into the hero I myself have had 20 visage games this patch and they're pretty good. He snowballs pretty early because of how much damage soul assumption has. Not to mention he DEMOLISHES buildings😊

This is an exemplary dota guide. Keybinds in this game are essential and a big gatekeeper for newbies. 2nd essential is explaining rotations, this helped me a lot. I hate guides that are 20 minutes long glorified build orders

I personally spam Visage offlane in 7k+ MMR. He works very well there, given his nuke in Laning Stage and high base damage, you can just destroy like any melee carry, if the support is not closing the gap to you and you step out of position. I am personally a fan of buying Phylactery early on. It just feels really potent and has depending on the playstyle a lot of impact usually.

Update since facets were released. The skill build in this video is obsolete. It says to not take the nuke until level 5, but you now always need to take it at level 1. Get first blood with it and you have more gold than an alch with seed money.

I used to play it in 2019. Visage was fun in lower rankings. Few people actually knew what he is capable of, since he was not so popular. Play him mid, deal with teammates whining about you "going mid with a support against Pudge", and see the magic happen at lv 6 lol

AS a player with 900+games on this hero with 60 % winrate i think i am experienced enough to comment. This is a perfect visage guid, very well commented and pointet out strengths o this hero, very well done... but..... I found out many mini pluses on this hero after playing him houndredts of Times. Hard to put everything in 12 minute video and even harder to put it in comment. So i will try to make it super short without many comments. Lvl 10 talent 3 hit targets and not grave chilli Lvl 15 armor reduction is way better (more dmg) Scepter almostt every game (80%) as third or even second item. Problem with sentries just buy gem. Other stuff not possible to put in shirt comment, is gameplay, it just differs from game to game and from enemies to enemies. And from lane to lane. So its impossible Good video, thumb up.

I wouldn't call him hard to 0lay but rather complex... But once you master a way of handling his birds... He becomes problem for enemy quick

I do disagree on one note. I think level 1 soul assumption is the best choice as it almost guarantees first blood AND it punishes opposing mid laners that harass a lot

People have been sleeping on this. I play it 90% from the offlane and so far around 300 games 67% wr. The games I lose its the illus, bb, chrono or a lane where I get ran at constantly before getting 6. Think I'm ready to take it mid 😂
