I like this concept Nicole. I usually do this on my own when planning for our homeschool year, but it makes more sense to get their input and give them more ownership in the process. I'm wondering, should I debrief with all my kids (there are lots) as a group or individually?? Also, my challenge is that once I've debriefed with them and they've shared their feedback, the follow through on their preferences doesn't always happen. As for executive functioning skills, a light bulb has gone off for me regarding the behavior of 2 of my kids. So I need to be patient, ask more questions to make them think rather than think for them moving forward. My mother did that to me so it's a hard habit to break!
