Here are all my tips (Gathered from various sources) : Back to school guide 1: Starting the day 1. Hydrate yourself 2. Have some feel-good music 3. Exercise and stretch 4. Shower in the morning (Cold) and brush teeth 5. Have a motivational quote for the day 6. Put skincare in fridge (Depuff and not as red) 7. Put on clothes 8. Take a walk 2: First impression 1. Confident body language and positive energy 1A) Walking in with your head held high 1B) Shoulders back 1C) Smile 1D) Big hello Note: Come in one energy higher than an average person Tip: Take space around you 2. Look for observational compliments 2A) Be verbally positive 2B) Compliment something genuine 3. Elevate people around you 3A) Compliment people even if they are not around (Highlights you have close relationships with awesome people) 4. Be a good listener 4A) Laugh easily 4B) Smile 4C) Eye contact 4D) Compliment if they make a good point 5. Be playful 5A) Think ahead of time 3: Confidence 1. Expand in awkward situations 1A) Get louder and more expressive 1B) unfazed 2. Body language 2A) Smile beforehand 3. What time am I can study? 1A) Start at 4:30 everyday 1B) Do a flame meditation (I don’t know what that is, that’s just what the video says) before studying 2. Restructure how you see yourself + how you see studying 2A) Tell your yourself positive things 3. Find your learning style + read aloud 3A) Use the spacing method to study 4. Hello people who looks at this comment! Just remember, even if you don't have cool stationary, journals, pens, markers, your own room and desk, it doesn't mean you won't be successful! My cousin grew up with little amount of supplies, and now, she's going to Stanford, so again, believe in yourself because you're wonderful!

**List of what she said!** 1 - Do your summer homework as early as you can! 2 - Review your transcript + credit and classes needed for graduation 3 - register and get required textbooks for your classes 4 - find useful ressources for your classes 5 - review your older notes 6 - organize and declutter your old notes/ books/ stationary 7 - set up a desk area 8 - back to school shopping --- (make sure to get a planner! To note exam dates, homework etc..) 9 - get teacher/class specific items ---- (like Estelle said I recommend waiting till the first day/week because sometimes teachers either change their mind, or just had to put smth they didn’t need on the syllabus.) 10 - clean and prep your backpack/pen case/iPad case etc.. 11 - figure out your optimal backpack/pen case setup 12 - declutter phone/tablet/computer of space, and remove stuff you don’t really need 13 - organize and format your devices 14 - get new study/school/productivity apps 15 - watch and read bingeworthy shows/books/comics --- (my own tip : if your into romance, read the webtoon “Age Matters” it’s the right about of love and drama and comedy! It’s absolutely amazing, I read it like 3 times even if am not a romance webtoon type of person. (If your into more horror, gore, stalking related, read the webtoon : It’s Mine, amazing story with a bunch of twists, i recommand.) (For WEBTOONS that are a mix of action, little bit of romance, and comedy, try “Teenage mercenary” it’s absolutely amazing, my favourite webtoon of all times.) -- 16 - set up your calender or planner. 17 - go over and print your syllabi --(we never got one in middle school, but am going into high school so maybe we’ll get one there, or maybe it’s just for college, no idea) 18 - learn some quick and simple recipes ! -- (I recommand also learning recipes not related to snacks, sometimes making your own lunch/dinner/breakfast, if you don’t usually do it, can be nice!) 19 - figure out which foods make you feel good and give you energy! 20 - get to know your teachers --(try to not cause trouble, showing your teachers your interested in the class and trying your hardest is a great thing to do.) 21 - determine which teachers you like/could write you future recommandation letters and which ones you do not get along with 22 - re-evaluate extracurriculars 23 - set realistic goals / make realistic plans for the school year 24 - make a study music playlist or save one from somebody else (pick one you enjoy!) 25 - find hobbies / faking activities to do during study breaks 26 - start taking notes early -- (for me, I used to not take notes since teachers would give us the lessons, for after a few months, I started to take notes mostly for things like maths, science etc, and it really helped during studying, so try to do that.) 27 - find a note taking method that works for you 28 - get to know yourself (what makes you feel good, what makes you procrastinate, etc) 29 - try to focus on effort over results, since results aren’t always in your control 30 - potato’s, and sushi, yes Estelle Anyways that’s that, I have a bunch of tips of my own, especially regarding mental health, please let me know if you need them and I’ll definitely update this, enjoy :)!

Here’s my tip 30: have a support group that you can rely on. It’s good to have people you can trust to talk to about your mental health that you can trust will keep your information confidential. That way, you have a way to release stress in a safe environment if you get overwhelmed with school.

Because I haven’t seen anyone else do it, just in case you want everything in front of you (pls watch the video tho lol): 1) do summer homework (not last minute) 2) review your transcript + credits and classes needed / left for graduation 3) ^ register for classes and get all required textbooks 4) ^ find useful resources for your classes (youtuber, teachers online resources, apps, etc.) 5) ^ review old notes (if you have a class continuing on from past year(s)) 6) organise + de-clutter your old files / notes / stationery 7) ^ set up your desk area (or decide on another workspace for people like me who don’t have desk areas TTT) 8) back to school shopping for essentials (do it beforehand so you don’t get caught in the rush and miss out on stuff you actually need but others just want lmao,, give yourself time to find out if you need something else too) 9) ^ get teacher / class specified items 10) clean and prepare your bag, pencil case, etc. 11) ^ figure out optimal (best and most efficient) backpack / pencil case setup 12) declutter phone / tablet / computer 13) ^ organise and format all digital devices 14) ^ get new study / school / productivity apps 15) watch / read bingeworthy shows and books (before school starts lol,, also this will help you avoid distractions during the semester/ school year as you’ll get so bored you actually end up doing work,, don’t ask how ik that is efficient I just do🧍‍♂️) 16) set up calendar / planner 17) go over + print syllabi 18) learn some quick and simple recipes 19) ^ figure out which foods make you feel good and give you energy 20) get to know your teachers (first week usually,, get used to asking them questions straight away bc this will prove you care and want to learn and you’re more likely to get help and understand material) 21) ^ determine which teachers you like / could write your future recommendation letters AND which ones you don’t really get along with (from the start tho,, have some hope and try to make it work :)) 22) re-evaluate extracurriculars 23) set realistic goals / make realistic plans for the school year 24) make a study music playlist / study with me playlist (chill vibes playlist) 25) find hobbies / calming activities to do during your study breaks (cute games, a walk, drawing / journaling / calligraphy) 26) start taking notes from the very beginning of school year (and beforehand, find a system / setup that works best for you,, as in your formatting that is nice to look at but doesn’t take too much time) 27) ^ find a note taking method that works for you (I got too far ahead of myself but yeah like I explained, apps with quizzes, flash card making, active recall methods basically) 28) try to get to know yourself (what makes you feel good / proud of yourself, what makes you procrastinate/ things or situations to avoid so that you don’t procrastinate, etc) 29) try to focus on efforts over results, since results are not always in your control (what I like to think now is “did I do my best at that time?” Bc then u know even if ur best wasn’t THE best,, it’s all you could accomplish in that moment when taking that test or doing that assignment) 30) food is nice lol (it’s ok to spoil yourself, don’t force yourself to always eat healthy if it’s uncomfortable for you,, just don’t get stuck in the binge-eating-because-I’m-stressed-and-sad-and-don’t-know-what-else-to-do mindset) You’re welcome (whoever uses this), even tho I’m a bit late (bc I’m not an American so these tips only apply for the Christmas holidays tbh and not “summer” holidays for me :)) 💞

I hope you find this comment if you have a Doughnut Backpack (Estella’s Backpack); I got one recently for the new school year. I use the front case to put some masks and disinfectant. In the inside, I use the place that is long and on the back on the backpack to put my tablet/ipad, my keyboard and my apple pen. Then I put some hair ties and sticky notes on the fishnet part. I put a mini pop it for after school int he part next to the fishnet. For the part behind the fishnet and the other one I put my colored pencils pencil case. I put my normal pencil case and my notebooks on the normal inside. Hope this helped! 😊
