He is right on the money about synchrony...to be in sync with others is healing. I have a helluva time with that, not feeling friendly with others🙁

Thank You for these reminders !❤ As a profoundly hard of hearing and late 60’s woman - I want to stress how important - our bodies experiencing being with other bodies ( significant to us and acquaintances) - IS in a Wholistic way . Along with the pandemic , and life circumstances falling apart - the pre-pandemic ways of inviting others to spend time with me are no longer that accessible . I do have a sense , though that I cannot wait for or hope others will take action and reach out - and many are overwhelmed and unable to accept me ( after a lifetime of dealing with this ) and how things are in this intensely painful and uncertain time - so they distance themselves . Honestly , for me ; virtual reality - online connection - doesn’t provide what is needed and as a culture ; One of the Intentions of the cultural changes put in place by the pandemic - was to put a majority of human beings in this predicament : Of substituting virtual connection ( 2 dimensional ) for the multi-dimensional creatures that we are .

Glad to say i’m very good at self care. Probably bc my parents made sure I have food in my tummy, clothes on my body, and a roof over my head. Emotionally, however, I was invisible to them. My feelings didn’t count...nothing else counted, just the basics to keep me alive:

Due to lack social skills and social interaction i frequently falling into social blunders and that makes my brain to overthink and ruminate... feeling embarrased and cringy. Making mistake increases day by day. I have insomnia also. I started to speak gibberish to my professor after staying awake all the day. After realizing that i feel so embarrased and couldn't face her.

I'm sorry to hear you're going through a difficult moment. Remember that making mistakes is a natural part of the learning process. Try not to be too hard on yourself. Social mistakes happen to the best of us. It may be helpful to speak with a therapist or counselor about your difficulties with social contact and insomnia. They can offer advice and support to help you enhance your well-being. You are not alone on this path, and there is always room for progress and growth. Take care.💖🙏

Emm there are so many factors that make these thing’s difficult or impossible for victims of abuse or people with cptsd or ptsd. I always find some of these leading experts are good at saying what we need, but not so good on the HOW… ..all or these would be very difficult for people with chronic trauma. Generally their target audience. I find all these suggestions gloss over the multiple challenges any of these would present. ‘Reach out to people’ sounds so simple!! Almost equates as a solution to ‘be healed’ That’s my view anyway
