Am African and palm trees are everywhere in my country. I make my own oil from the seeds..it's very easy to prepare. Its good for cooking too..better than vegetable oil depending on the kind of food

@@Theloveshere she mentioned oil from the seeds and that is palm kernel oil, it is either black in colour or plain and not red. Red palm oil is from the palm fruit. Did you get to see the video?

I totally agree! I love Red Palm Oil in my hair. I make my own hair oil with castor oil, olive oil and palm oil. Palm oil makes my hair SO soft and moisturized. I absolutely love it!

I have a 3 year old daughter with the same texture as your hair. I find it hard to keep her hair moisturized. I use cantu products on her hair, but half way through the day her hair is really dry. What type of products do you recommend?

Hi Lashonda, I recommend deep conditioning your daughters hair, because winter time can be really drying, and doing the LOC method, or moisturizing and sealing with an oil(whipped shea butter, coconut oil, apricot oil super moisturizing), before ever putting a styling cream on. I love the cantu line ,shea moisture line, and I just did a review on the Edens' body work Jojoba Monoi deep conditioner that left my hair feeling moisturized for days. Also do you have a water filter where you wash you daughters hair. Depending where you live, you could be dealing with hard water build up, which could really dry the hair out, and make it dull. I hope his helped.

Use palm kernel oil instead of palm oil. Palm oil is what we west africans eat basically daily lol palm kernel oil does the same thing but not for eating and less orange. Well I'm sure you could eat it and be fine but there is no taste lol

6:22 that is for palm oil. Palm oil & red palm oil are different in harvesting & processing. Palm oil is refined w/no nutrient benefits and is now used as a substitute for western packaged food. PER VOLUME palm oil is problematic

Try the palm kernel oil, it comes from the same plant. It has no color, higher quality than red palm oil. It is high there with hemp and coconut oil quality wise. Keeps very well. you dont need much so it goes a long way. Get it organic and cold pressed. Worth it.
