Nice video edit! I did this, i put a briiea load equalizer under the seat, same in this vid. I get hyperflash when it's running.

Did your security light come on with your hazard lights i put the same one in and my signals work fine but when i put on hazards theres no hyper flash but security light comes on

Hmmm. I don't remember. I remember testing the hazards and they worked, but didn't notice if the security light came on. Does the security light go off and everything return to normal when you turn the hazards off?

you should go for a long ride and see if the harness gets really hot....and do a six month update to see if it lasts or fails....

I'll definitely update as time goes on. So far so good though. I havent had any issues. They say these are safe for "parade mode" which is when they have the 4 way flashers on for parades for long times. I did try the flashers for mabye 5 minutes to test and temp didnt change. But I will update if anything changes. Thanks

Any Harley older than 2014 will require a load equalizer when switching to LED turn signals if you don’t want hyper flash. 2014 and up has a different computer (BCM) to regulate any voltage differences.

Does the load equalizer get too hot?

Not at all. It's not like the other cheaper units that are just resistors and absorb the extra current and turn it into heat. These do not get hot at all

You think it’s electrically safe to ride without the load resistor?

I know guys that swapped to LED and don't care and just ride it as is. I don't know if it can cause any issues, but I myself don't like that the warning light on the speedo stays on as it's detecting an overcharge due to the current draw being much less now. I honestly don't know if it would cause a problem or not. I just wanted peace of mind and install one
