Omg, Nikkia, you just changed MY LIFE! I have had issues with foundation staying on my nose for like 5 years. I’ve tried everything, powder first, setting spray, moisturizing with oil, eyeshadow primer and it helped, but it still didn’t fix my problem all the way. Then I watched this video and you said don’t use silicone and/or pore filing primers which I usually do. So yesterday I didn’t use my usual primer, I just used eyeshadow primer and omg!!!! my makeup actually stayed on my nose! It didn’t even get shiny until like the 7 hour mark! Thank you SO much!

These tips saved my life! I don’t usually wear foundation during the summer because I’m afraid of sweating it off, but this made my makeup stick to place. Not only did these tips help prevent patchy areas, but my makeup lasted much longer and still looked flawless after 8 hours. Thank you so much! 🙏

I know this is an older video, but I stumbled across it yesterday after getting totally fed up with my foundation on my nose and cheeks being patchy even from application. I tried all of these tricks today and I just have to say, thank you so much! Even eight hours later, after being in and out of the Florida heat and misting rain, my makeup was practically flawless! I was worried that all of those layers might make my fave feel suffocated, but I followed your instructions to go light with the products, and it was just great! Thank you!

@CheekyMissy6 жыл бұрын
I appreciate this. One thing I've been told regarding foundation that goes patchy is that your skin is dehydrated, so it's absorbing the water in the foundation and leaving behind the pigment. Sometimes you can combat patchy foundation just by applying a good moisturiser and hydrating primer - this is often a big help.

I cannot wait to try the paint pot next time I wear makeup! I brought this the other day and the girl mentioned about using this on my nose but not before foundation (I used it over top and it was horrible!!) makes more sense 🤗

Omg I just stumbled upon your “how to stop your foundation from rubbing off your nose” video. And then this one. I never thought there would be a hack for this! I went to ulta and asked one of their “professionals” why my foundation was doing that and what I should use for primer since I thought mine was the problem. The girl tried to sell me a $90 serum and told me to stop using primer cause it wasn’t needed 😒 (I didn’t buy the serum because wtf?!). These videos are SO GREAT! I have dry af skin so every other guru tries to suggest matte primer as the cure. I can’t wait to try out this hack!! I def hit that sub button 💕

I have really bad skin texture and I'd recommend using a pore filling primer with a tacky setting spray on top of it before your foundation (e.g. TF Primed & Poreless and TF Hangover 3-in-1 spray), and then a good amount of a finely milled translucent powder and the same setting spray on top of foundation. I've found that this achieves the perfect balance of smoothness and longevity. Hope this helps!

Your a life saver!! I’m young and still in highschool, so I can’t exactly afford the most expensive foundation and products etc! As well as I have mostly dry skin and acne scarring (slight texture) so I wasn’t sure what was wrong! It was so frustrating to keep reapplying and have it wipe right away again! I felt like my makeup constantly looked horrible but I had felt like I tried everything! This is super helpful and I’m glad to know that other people can relate to my #everydaystruggle and I’m gonna definitely try these tricks out❤️❤️

THANK YOU!! You are such a life saver! I loved your video about covering stubborn pimples with an eye primer, which I used the MAC soft ochre paint pot. I've since tried it on the nose and other patchy areas (before watching this video) and it WORKS! A game changer! When I apply powder on top that definitely helps too. Just thought I'd share in case anyone was skeptical, these 1000% WORK! I'm gonna try setting spray in this order, because Ive been doing powder directly after foundation and it gets cakey. Don't know why I didn't think to do spray, then powder.

I hear you hun! I have oily forehead, nose, chin & for some reason just on the apple part of my cheeks? To add to this delightful oil slick,I have scalp psoriasis & I get it behind my ears, sometimes creeps on to my eyebrows, usually right side, just under my chin, right side, I have it on my hairline on forehead which can be really dry at times, then I always have no matter what I do or how good or bad my scalp psoriasis flare up is, I ALWAYS have a REALLY dry, flakey, weeping, red, scaley, can bleed, all at the same time? but always dry & whatever I do skincare wise, face prep, whatever primer, foundations, concealer, colour correction, etc etc I use it always looks so obvious, cakey, dry, odd so o gave up with makeup in that area & my hairline and now constantly wear wide headbands, bandanas, caps, any headwear that covers,hides my scalp psoriasis & dry patches on face! So any HELP or ADVICE, TIPS or TRICKS we will be extremely grateful! I've been looking over 15 years! Xx

A while back I watched a video from Wayne Goss where he said something like....that the moisturizer u use before u apply ur primer & foundation is also important because say ur moisturizer is water based & ur foundation is oil based...water & oil don't mix & that can also contribute to foundation coming off in the day.
