Sometimes we want to take things a little personally, because it means that we’re important. But truth be told, people are mostly thinking about themselves. And they don’t care about us as much as we’d like to think they do. For me, this was the best realization. People don’t remember what you wore or said nearly as much as you think about it. Let’s stop obsessing and taking ourselves so seriously.

for *getting rid of the phone* tip what i do is, i have this feature in my phone in the settings that puts my phone into focus mode (also divided into work time, me time etc) then i turn it on and it disables all the applications while i am on that mode and only keeps the most important one's like call, settings, play store and all. It has a timer in it which also shows me for how long i have been focused for and it really feels nice to see my phone showing "focused for 30m or 1 hour" and then when we end it we get back all the notifications we got while we were focused (like a reward). It really helps me and increases my productivity. It will be in your settings in the digital wellbeing section, you guys should try that, if your phones have that option, that is. Happy Productivity!
