WOW!! I listen to Stop Guessing Yourself podcast this morning at 6:30am and I put it into practice at work today. I am in training for a position I asked for, I told my manager I wanted to do something different or sit alongside someone and learn a new skill. Well he found me something else to do that I am training and yes I have been second guessing myself. I was saying to jye😮Why did I do this? I was in a comfortable place and plus I was working from as well we a extra day off during the week along with the weekend. I have been self sabotaging myself, afraid to ask questions but today I was put to a test. I was ask to do something that I have never done before and by myself. So I went into the restroom got in front of the mirror and I said Stop it don’t say that, commit to what you ask for, ask questions if you get wrong ask questions again and keep asking if you make a mistake, take the responsibility and ask again keep going. I had the best day at work today..I ask so many questions but I had to keep telling myself stop it shut up!! WHeW!! God is Good! Thank you Chrystal for your podcast!!

Sis, you are always on time. I'm starting to be extremely sensitive to Gods voice these days...certain words set off an alarms in my spirit, and I know it's a signal to pay attention. My ugandan mom used to always say a phrase that I've never heard ANY other person say.... "when you know in your Noah" ( with the accent) 😜 ....I felt this shift coming and I just needed a little nudge to pull back off of ALL the things I thought I should be doing, in order to start what God has asked me to do. This is it. Wow, look how faithful God is to direct when we ask with an obedient heart. Thanks to you for all you do. Praying for you, your book and the process. 🙏🏿

This made so much sense, and i needed the slap on the wrist. Very timely message. I have been struggling making decisions regarding my home these days and where to reside. There are many other things, but that is the biggest decision I am struggling with. I haven't qualified for loans and my house is getting worse structural damage due to the lack of foundation and the sinking that has taken place, but to sell and move - the Lord would have to open up several doors and opportunities with house and apartment rents...amongst some other curve balls. Please keep me in prayer for this.....i don't usually put my business out there like that, but it's a decision i have struggled with for years, and it's hitting a peak and I really don't know what to do. I am a single Mom with limited support system.

Thank you for sharing this message with us, that the Lord placed upon your heart to share. I have been an indecisive person most of my life. I tend to make decisions based on my heart (character and emotions), flesh (my needs), and mostly for others needs more so than my own. There needs tend to outweigh mine because that's what I grew up believing that a Christian should put the needs of others first. It created happiness and freedom for them but anger, frustration, resentment and pain for me. I'm seeking God for guidance in a situation right now. He has been speaking to me for many years about and I'm still second guessing what I should do. This message came in such a timely manner. I will continue to watch and absorb your words as I make choices in other areas in my life. Please pray for God to continue His guidance in my life and for me to open my ears and clear my vision to receive it. In Jesus Name! 🙏🏾❤️

I have been dealing with a number of issues as well, especially over the last few months. Tonight, I spoke to a counselor. I am working on a plan of action as well as writing a list of YES and NO items that will help me to focus on my priority for this year. Lord, I pray for Liz. Grant her wisdom to help her stop the second guessing and focus on what you are speaking to her about. Lord, you know what she needs to help her move forward. Grant her the help, Father.

This is so helpful. I've been second guessing whether to invest in a coach while I have limited funds. *In reading this back, I know to wait until I'm in a better position to do so. Further, I'm trying to be such a good steward that I've been squirreling around with every minor (and needed purchase). So, I am pacing myself with the everyday expenses and am doing my best to do what I can and trust God with what I can't do on my own. I guess what's left now is radical acceptance of what I can do with a clear conscience and moving forward with peace of mind.

I’m so glad I watched this replay! I’m second guess every decision I make. There are times in which I don’t act upon things that I think I’d like to do but am afraid it won’t work out. An example of my second guessing is whether to start my handmade greeting card business. I spend so much time overthinking and second guessing and it’s exhausting. Part of it comes from not feeling confident that I could actually have a successful business and the other part is simply not knowing where or how to get started.
