I have been listening to you in the morning and the evening. I avoid negative music and thoughts. A days after I began to listen to you I lost my job. The refused to accept disappointment and depression. I have been diagnosed with depression and heard in your message that the dr told you that you were depressed and you start telling yourself how great you are so I gave it a try. Monday I was let go from my assignment and today Wednesday I have interviews for tomorrow. Being positive and believing in yourself is different for me but it feels amazing! And I thank you and I am looking forward to fulfilling my dreams and I and my children will have you in our daily routine! Thanks !

Dear Lisa, and hello to all, I am currently going to be 42 this year and starting very young, dealt with eating disorders. I tried to get help, but even hotlines were cruel. After the largest attempt of my life, I move away from where I lived to a not very well known town in MA where my Dad lived. Again, more therapy but no help. I finally said to myself #bol, if I'm getting over this and there's really only me and food, technically, that I'm fighting with. I said, no more. It's destroying my life, my happiness, my way of moving forward. This may have only been the tip of the iceberg, but I was ENOUGH. I worked, suffered and worked some more and no matter how much weight I've gained or lost since, I will never be a slave to eating disorders again. I did that. I survived that. And yes, I admit it, I'm over weight now. But I can eat, and not obsess. I know how to lose the weight. We all do. And I eventually will. I may never at 5'9" fit into a size 6 again, but I'm not jailed by food. And I had to do it on my own. After a lifetime. And everyday I'm grateful. So very grateful I had the strength to know I was more than my body. God Bless and thank you. With love, Tracee

I am confident. I am powerful. I am enough. This message helped me to be the first person to stand during introductions at a recent career conference in front of about 100 people. I was so nervous that I was shaking and my pulse was through the roof. Even after I passed the mic and sat I was shaking. I volunteered for a "shark tank" style meeting and that was also way out of my comfort zone. I had very little time to prepare but my main objective was just the experience. It was very empowering after the initial nerves. I approached high level executives with no fear or intimidation while in the general mixer. It helped to know, even though some others didnt, that I am enough. 😆😉

This video had me crying like a baby because you were speaking directly to my spirit. Almost 50, I have been through so much and not only do I bring me, a strong powerful woman, overcomer, & conqueror to every situation & circumstance, I also bring my God, which is the only reason why I am still standing. Yet, I lack faith that if I go to the edge and leap, my wings won’t work. I can fall multiple times but there is something about the edge, that giant leap of faith that paralyzed me even though I have numerous counts of evidence. I am 45 y/o, single, no kids and without a meaningful career. This is not what I had imagined in my life and I don't know where I derailed. I am in the process of finding meaning in the second part of my life in all areas of my life: personal, career, relationship, family, financial, spare time - all areas. I want to start a new career and am doubting if it's all worth. I have to go back to school for three years and invest. By the time, I am done, I'll be 50. I wonder if it's worth the challenge and trouble. Who says I am going to succeed? I didn't do with my previous career goals. I a second guessing myself at this. I want to be in a loving relationship but all the men I meet, have kids or not on the same track as me. I doubt that I can find love at this age with someone who is healthy and full of life.

In my opinion it is never too late to become a new version of yourself and 45 y/o is still young. You are still alive and full of energy and have a desire to experience life in a different way, you should follow it. Louise Hay, Warren Buffet, Oprah Winfrey, Iyanla Vanzant have all done amazing things in the later years of their lives. There are perks to being more mature and experienced when trying new things. The main question is are you going back to school because you want and feel compelled to do this or is it because this is what you think you can do right now to be able to say to yourself, and feel accomplished to yourself that you have achieved a "meaningful career". The reason I ask this is because you ask if its worth the challenge and trouble so perhaps you are still deciding if THIS PARTICULAR goal is what you really want to accomplish. The fear of failure is definitely real, I can relate, but I love what Lisa Nichols says about knowing that you will get back up. Resolve to love and forgive yourself in advance for any outcome, so you are not afraid to jump. This resonates with me because I am also starting a new endeavor later in life and I have had both successes and failures in my previous endeavors and sometimes I let the failures dictate my thoughts and actions instead of the successes. Sometimes it is easier to see the error in that way of thinking in someone else other than yourself. If you really want this goal you should make a plan and go for it. If you believe in God, perhaps look at it as God speaking to you to say this is the next task in your life. If it is not this particular goal you are mentioning which will take five years - if it doesn't seem worth the trouble - then perhaps you can ask yourself what you really want and go for that instead. The other point I would like to mention is - what is wrong with a man with kids? Many wonderful, loving, full of life men find themselves in the wrong relationship later in life, after becoming fathers. These men are also looking for a relationship with a beautiful, intelligent and loving woman. I say give them a chance and you may find you can develop a relationship with their children as well. Just a few thoughts. May God bless you in all your endeavors, may abundance be yours, I will pray for both of us. I AM CONFIDENT, I AM POWERFUL, I AM ENOUGH!!!

Lisa, I'm having a so hard time these days, these weeks. I started crying while listening to this video.. I feel ashamed and guilty that I am not confident right now.. but I always think that I didnt work hard enough, that I dont do things good enough, that's room for better, that I dont deserve the job I have, which is so good, that I cant handle it after having it.. I am so insecure and I always doubt what I do and what I know.. it's easier for me to have someone else taking the decisions..maybe because I awlays want to please everybody else.. this is how I think I dont make good choises and it's harder for me to take responsability for it afterwards..
