Yes! Ignoring! That’s what I do… but I know usually the people in the live chat have a hard time doing the same. Love the stream yard tip! The other day I had this happen and when I clicked the three dots it wouldn’t pop up the option to kick or block them .. it was frustrating lol Thank you for sharing.

@@StreamYard Hello! Nothing popped up at all when I clicked them. It was odd as I had never had that happen before. When I clicked the dots it popped the comment up on the screen for everyone to read, like I do with any non spam comments (unfortunately the spammer was extremely vulgar.. so that wasn’t ideal lol..but the guest I had on was easy going and understood). However I assumed it was simply a glitch as it only was happening for that particular stream. And has not happened for my others since.

@@StreamYard if I recall they were on KZbin as well. I can go back to the stream and review. However I had reported them after the show and deleted as many of the comments from the live chat that I possibly could for anyone that comes to watch after the fact.

Thank you I am on my second day of live stream on tiktok and this morning the comments became quite heated. I host live shows discussing healing crystals, and this guy came flying in the chat with all a great deal of propaganda, it took all my power to stay calm for sake of the other viewers lol .. this video was great thank u because I have been requested to do another live rhis afternoon but wanted to decompress after this morning experience

Good video & advice man, but what to do with trolls (or troll bots), that come back with countless other "sock puppet" accounts, with 0 subscribers, no matter how often you ban them? They are very annoying, and write comments like "Hi :) It's been a while :) I'm back! And you s*ck! And you won't get rid of me! Hehehe! :D :D :D " It's very frusttrating and annoying. What can I do about it?

I completely understand that frustration. Unfortunately, the only way thing you can do with these is to continue to ban them. I wish there was a simpler way to handle those, but that really is the best option. - Julie 🦆

@@StreamYard Yes, the frustrating thing is that it seems to be a kind of script, and automated, so they have the endurance of a machine to come back, which makes you almost just close your account and move on, but then the trolls win! YT should do something about it, like banning the IP or something! There is now a "stricter method" to hold back comments, at least YT started to do something about it, and you can use "block words lists" that is also very good!

She came to the charity channel I'm on and when the lady on the show did she has hurt many in the chat.. she convinced u she needs money.. and even sends gifts.. she says she's a real native American making really native American julerly and sells it to people or donates it to get favor and then hurts all the people. She got friendly with a young girl and threatened to tell everyone she was um.. well it's just not right.. we e done all we can and she find new to brainwash.. poor simple handicapped people.. it's heartbreaking.. I'm tired of trying to protect everyone from her.. she pretended to accidently kick me out of a room today and then did a live on how bad I am for my opinion of her.. I just told people what she did..and keeps doing.. we all in many room suffer from her.. I can give you room names .. she learned secrets from the young girl and hacked her page and sent a pedo file to harass her.. please tell us collectively how to stop her.. she sailys I threatened her.. but I did not.. she makes up fake evidence.. she tells you to give your dog with a belly ache pure hydrogen peroxide down it's throat and make it puke.. doing that will eat your dogs esophagus.. please stop her. Thank you.

In addition to blocking them, you may also want to consider using some of the additional comment moderation tools to hold comments until after the live stream. Have you tried that as well?
