Instead of tissue paper, can we use newspaper? Using so much tissue paper requires lot of trees to be cut. So if we use newspaper, it will save unneccessary cutting of trees.

Newspapers has its own toxics due to the printing inks. May be try a dry cloth if you need it to be eco friendly. May be some recycled papers without any harmful ingredients.

Make puree and freeze it on ice tray aur in anything hope it'll help you

Wipe the tomatoes with a dry cloth and wrap tomato individually in a piece of newspaper and keep them in a plastic bag in the fridge not freezer. You can use the last tomato also as fresh as you got it from the market.
