I am also #teamcombattachment! I have mad respect for women who can actually use a blow dryer with a separate comb or brush because that takes more upper body stamina than I have, LOL! Ok then I will wait to straighten my hair until that video of what to do to prep. I have had heat damage in the past because i gave permission to a "stylist". I had to transition and now that my heat damage has grown out and been cut, I am being as careful as possible. So I want to straighten my hair but not damage my curl pattern. Thanks again.

I just had a question when you flat iron your hair like that do your curls revert back? I have been staying away from flat irons for a while because I had a lot of heat damage. My curls have come back some what. I'm on my natural journey also so I try to get as much advice as possible from you tube 😊

+e11 Ro Yes my curls usually revert back with no problem. I feel like it's okay to straighten curly hair occasionally...you just gotta take the proper precautions. For example, I never go above 400 or 410 degrees on the flat iron, I use a heat protectant and I only flat iron once a month or less during the time that I'm wearing my hair straight (usually around 2-3 months). I also make sure I deep condition before and after I flat iron my hair. Hope this helps!

Goaaaaalllllllllsssssss 😩😍 I've been embracing my natural curls for a year and half and my hair has become so healthy and my curls have flourished but I'm just not getting the growth part.
