What is the best media player on MacOS you would recommend as an alternate to QuickTime Player? The reason I asked is because you mentioned that you wouldn’t recommend using QuickTime as playback or media source due to the fact that it only caps out at 1080p 30fps even if a video was recorded in 1080p 60fps or higher.

You can still playback in high quality using QuickTime, just not record in high quality. You’re better off using OBS for recording and you can still use QuickTime to watch videos.

If you’re streaming directly off PS5 you can monitor the stream and chat on your computer. But the alerts won’t show over your stream if you’re not using streaming software.
