Your content is always on point, Tim, I regularly do neck exercises, although I have arthritis and degenerative risks in my neck, regular neck work keeps the painful events from occurring. Thanks for all of this great content.

Is there a video demonstrating an exercise that would strengthen postural muscles, specifically in the thoracic area (rhomboids, serratus anterior)? I already include the rolling flow for good posture along with my extra salty egg rolls. Thanks! And this is another great video!

Hey Drew, any of the commando rocking videos or winged scapula videos on our channel would be great for those muscles. Let me know if you can’t find them. Thanks for the encouragement!

Hello Superman Tim!! Thanks for another great tip/video! Wondering, what's your thoughts on neck stretches?
@OriginalStrengthSystem5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Ana! So as far as stretching goes, I may be a little weird. I think people often try to stretch when they think they are tight, but really they just need to move in ways that tell their nervous system it is safe to move. If a person needs a certain amount of flexibility for a sport they enjoy and they have a solid foundation of movement, they may need to stretch to achieve that. And, if stretching just feels good and it brings joy, I’m all for it. So, if it feels good to stretch the neck and you enjoy it, it can be great. If one is trying to stretch the neck for more range of motion, there may be a better way. Does this make sense?
@anad64485 жыл бұрын
@@OriginalStrengthSystem Absolutely it does, thanks Tim! I found that after a year of Neck nods my neck (and shoulder) range of movement has transformed like you wouldn't believe! I mean so much 'stuff' released over time (snap, crackle and pop anyone?! -- but SOO good!!) that my mobility and range of motion (not to mention neck control) reached great strengths. I had tried neck stretching before, but it felt so 'forced' and unnatural and would hurt. However, recently due to all this increased mobility and strength, my body starting hinting to me to stretch. At first, I kept ignoring it as I was scared I'd just hurt myself again, but the craving became too strong and my body was really urging me to do it. So I tried some, and it felt so good! Even more releases and movement. The 'stretch cravings' only come if I am diligent in my neck nods (which I am!). I think this is my body's way of telling me you are now strong reflexively, you are now allowed to stretch! =D =D All thanks to Original Strength! haha! Your the best! Keep the knowledge flowing Tim!

Hy Tim, Have a question about the head is it the idea to hold youre as much as possible horizontal during the day , the chin level with the horizon or do you have any other pointers to see if youre head is in alignment with the body ? Ps the book os ordered gonna have him saterday cant wait to get started:)
@OriginalStrengthSystem4 ай бұрын
Kind of, yes. The head is designed to be level with the horizon and “on a swivel.” It’s not meant to be held down or to just hang throughout the day. It’s designed for active movement and balance over the spine.

hi Tim can these exercises support in healing cervical stenosis? are there any other exercises that I can do as well?
@OriginalStrengthSystem2 жыл бұрын
Yes, they can support in healing. Just move where you can and don’t move into pain. Take advantage of all the pain-free movement you have for now. I have an entire playlist on head control - it’s mostly neck restorative movements

Hi Tim, this is Dragan... amazing videos, amazing and fun way to get our attention, thumbs up... one question about neck excercises, what is your opinion on wrestlers bridge? there are lots of different opinions, some say it's not safe, it's bad, some say it's good, there is a safe way to do it... but I would like to know your opinion or expirience with that excercise. keep up with this amazing work, thanks and cheers...
