I’ve been working on reading the whole bible for a little while, and I’m nowhere near done, and I do usually do a book at a time, but another way I find really interesting is studying a person. For example, at the moment I’m planning a David study for my summer, because I’m working through psalms and it inspires me to study David’s life when it has notes about the time in his life at the top of the Psalm. This works for me as I love the way the different Bible books intertwine, but I know it doesn’t work for everyone. This video was really great and had some really insightful tips 💚

Really well done, Amy. As a pastor I struggle to keep these things in mind. It's not that I don't understand them, but I always find myself turning my time with God into a product. I tend read something and see it as a sermon or a KZbin video or as anything other than quality time with God. Great video, great reminder.

This was also really important statement. We need to see it more like a way to grow spiritually that to produce for others. I often find myself studying for a Bible story video but i delay because i want to have that connection with the Lord so what i say will impact something into others lives and mine !

Madame Poovie at least we don’t believe in idols, don’t make anybody other than God holy and don’t believe that praying to a little candle with the picture of a “saint” can do any miracles. The Bible says to take care of the log in your eye before you care about the splinter in someone else’s. No denomination is perfect and the Bible clearly says the only requirement to get to heaven is to believe in him as our savior. God bless you and take he hatred of your heart

There is a desperate need for praying Christians to get their hearts set in the Word. If you want a great tip, I can't recommend more, "A Christian Soldier's Field Manual" (by L. Jan Turner). It's pure Bible, nothing else. No explanations just cool verses divided into topics. It's survival-food for your spirit. A great tool for these channels to use.

I also love reading my Bibles and taking notes I have a world Bible school study Bible and a catholic life Bible can I write in them with a regular pencil amen my friend ❤🙏

If you type You Version bible in your App Store it comes up as an App just called Bible and it's by Life.Church. The Icon is of a brown bible that just says Holy Bible on the front in light yellow. Hope that helps.

Marie Ray You dint need any ither books! Any help you might need is online. Keep in mind that people lived by the Bible only since it was compiled. You can always call on the Holy Spirit to clarify and show you what a passage means. Plus, using a study Bible is helpful. Only the Bible is supernatural and has true power!
