Hey sorry to be rude but I strongly need your opinion on something there is a close friend of mine who I been knowing for three years recently she was concerned about things in her neighborhood like she feels uncomfortable, and she asked me to visit her may 2019 so I did she asked me to stay two days or so with her then I could go home. So the day I was meant to go home she asked me to come back and spend another day so I did then before I know it she kept me here till this day she moving soon I keep explaining to her I need my space meanwhile I'm paying rent in a place where I'm not even at because I stuck here with her so what should I do every time j tell her I have a life she makes statements like whose the one that cooks cleans for you she say I don't appreciate her what should I do then when i say I'm just going to leave she say if I do that god will punish me what your advice

@@marcelcarter861 wow! i know it’s been a while since you’ve posted this, but don’t let her use your faith or kindness against you! the next time she does that, ask her to show you where it says that in the Bible & then tell her you can cook at your own place! i’m not sure how you needing your own space correlates to punishment from God (i don’t think God will punish your for that). it sounds like she’s manipulating you & trying to guilt trip you. she should appreciate the fact that you stayed longer than what you were supposed to. that’s selfish of her to try to guilt trip you like that by saying those things and that’s not normal for someone to do that. it sounds like she’s using you for her own benefit rather than asking in a healthy way if you would mind staying with her longer. & if the answer was no, that’s okay too! you don’t have to feel obligated to stay somewhere if you don’t want to.

It's so true that we won't necessarily have any feelings or emotions about what we're reading in the Bible in the moment, but I do believe that something gets planted like a seed. Because there have been times where I'll read something and I don't know what to make of it, untill later down the road when things in life happen and then BOOM that scripture that I had read which I didn't think much of then, meant the world to me when I needed it and I didn't know I needed it. It surprised me by resurfacing in the right moment. It just clicked into place and made perfect sense!

AMEN! Literally couldn't have said it better myself. Regardless, we are still storing Scripture in our hearts for the Holy Spirit to bring to our minds at the time of need 💛thanks for this comment!

Thank you for pointing out that we don't have to study first thing in the morning. For years I felt guilty about not being a morning person and studying God's word first thing. When I didn't oversleep and completely miss my time with God, I was still too tired to comprehend anything I was reading. Evenings work much better for me and that's okay, it's the way God made me. Another helpful tool is a Strong's and sometimes multiple versions (there are multiple bible apps you can use to access several versions) Thanks again for sharing your tips and knowledge.

Earlier this morning before reading Proverbs dates for today, a question came to my mind and I then prayed a simple prayer. After I asked God in prayer, yesterday’s and today’s Proverb, chapter 20 and 21 literally, rather immediately answered and I was so floored! I wrote those verses and the prayer in my journal. I remember a vessel of God said that it’s not enough to just read the Bible but to “ask the right questions.” And when I asked, His Word answered. I use to think to myself like you brush it off but now I know the Bible truly has all the answers we need. We just have to ask the right question and I too will circle particular words that catch my attention so that I can look up it’s meaning in other translations like the Amplified version.

I love the bible project. i am reading the bible like a book, starting from Genesis to Revelations. before i start a chapter i will watch the video on that chapter and then i will listen to it on my audible and then i will watch the video at the end of reading, just to summarize what i just read.

I loved this video it gave me so much information about things I’d never even think of. Like you mentioned about the word immediately and googling why it is used so much, it has made me much more aware that all words in the Bible is important but like in this case things are repeated to highlight important meanings. I thank you so much for this it has been very enlightening. I also love the way you described eating and it has made so many things clearer to me now about not expecting every quiet time in my Bible to be the equivalent to a 3 course meal. New subbie here and glad I found your channel. Stay safe at this strange time.

The Bible is the same thing. It’s our manual for our life and the way He wants us to live, ( how to maintain our faith), and to go to it when we need advice about a specific problem we are going through, encouragement etc.”

Hello Kaci, I just downloaded the grace to you app, and I found the MacArthur Daily Bible section. However, I still find myself confused. I installed the app today on september 12, and I find have five columns after clicking on the Daily Bible section; dated from 8 to 12 september.... how does this work? do I start with clicking on the september 8 column? I kind of prefer a year overview, that gives me more peace. Could you help give me clarity in how the year plan works in grace to you?? Thank you!!
