I got this same cut in July, it’s kinda high maintenance when it’s humid out. I have to use the flat iron daily. My length grew out a bit now and it’s what I originally asked for …a lob. Anyway, it’s cute long or short…and great for fine hair. Signed a Gen Xer who had frizzy hair during the grunge era because flat irons weren’t a thing then lol

Hi Mallory You look so good with this haircut! I've had a similar bob haircut for about 1,5 year. Im finally learning to style my hair like this. Last December I bought a round brush and GHD flat iron. However finding the time energy to style my hair, let alone wash is it super hard when you are struggling with a severe depression :( I'm looking to buy some of the same products as you use so I make the hairstyle last when I eventually style it this way. Right now it only last 1 night but it takes like 1,5 hour if not longer to style it. My hair is also fine and relatively straight but I have a lot of it. Do you think that the Kevin Murphy Blow Dry Ever Bounce also works on fine hair that doesn't have curls/waves like yours? Which styling products do you think are the most important to obtain this look? I'm on budget so I can't afford to buy all. And what about the shampoo you recommend, do you think it would also work for me? I know you aren't an hairdresser but you really seem to know a lot about hair products etc. Love from subscriber from Denmark

SISTER I wish I had known all of this sooner lol. Up until this past November I was a Correctional Officer with the Texas Department Of Criminal Justice at a maximum security mens prison. Any way we had to wear our hair above the collar. I LOVE BOBS but my hair is so fine. I have a lot of hair it's just fine. So I had it cut into a pixie which I LOVED. Have you ever tried yours on the side??: I'm getting my haircut like yours, but my hair is trained to the side and it doesn't look good (to me for me) in the middle. Love this Mal!! What temp do you put your straight iron on? No matter what temp I put mine on, I have to pull it through so slowly that it doesn't go through smoothly. It sort of skips or rather jerks(mainly when I try to curl my hair with the straight iron), and I clean my iron after each use. I find it hard for my style to last even with hairspray. My stylist can use a flat iron to curl my hair with nothing on it and the curls last for days!

@@ImMalloryBrooke I've had it happen with a few different ones, but then again I haven't used like "higher end" tools either. I'm convinced I need more expensive tools to do what I need done. Sometimes you do get what you pay for! I'm just using an adjustable temp Conair iron.
