It happens way too often because I'm from a country where it is very rare for girls to ride motorbikes.

Honestly my hair on my commute is one of my biggest riding pet peeves! The wind completely destroys it and anything that holds everything together takes too long (because my hair is very slinky). Now I just pull it into a side braid, knowing half will be out by the time I arrive, and call it a day! I can't do a bun because my helmet bumps it at the back but a regular pony doesn't do anything to corral the main. Even after I cut my hair- now about the length yours is after your chop (which looks great, by the way!!) -I still have issues trying to keep it contained and maybe hopefully not just pancake flat! I haven't succumb to a cover yet but we will see how long I hold out :)

In women only motorcycle classes hair is usually one of the subjects of conversation. It is a safety issue. Hair can cause distraction directly or due to discomfort. It also effects the fit and comfort of a helmet. Doodle you are no longer a new rider. This observation comes from you failing to point out something that is obvious to experienced rides with long hair. What you forgot to point out is that everything that you demonstrated doing with your hair is below where the bottom of where your helmet will be. Anything above that will effect the fit of the helmet. Here is a comment for people with short hair. All the hair that Doodle cut off is hair that was outside her helmet when she is riding. With a properly fitting helmet and short hair, if you cut one inch of hair off it will effect the fit of the helmet. Doodle the information that you provided will be very helpful for those with long hair. And thank you for promoting (and defending) Locks of Love. Doodle this is a safety topic. If you are in contact with some of the other YT creatures that focus on safety please suggest to them that they cover the subject of hair. Most of them tend to be male centric and fail to realize the importance of this topic. Doodle I watch your videos because you are a newish rider without an ego that promotes riding to women specifically and everyone in general. And you express no negative bias. You admit the biases that you have. Being newish is important because you haven't forgotten what you didn't know when you started. No ego means that you are willing to talk about what you didn't know. You are female and a little small. The subjects you choose to talk about are mostly for women and small riders. Thank you. I never noticed how long your hair is because my focus has been on the videos content. People's appearance is always a factor in just about everything regardless of gender. Hopefully we are aware of this and factor it into our decision. I hope that the people commenting on how beautiful or how cute you are actually listening to your content with open and critical minds. Please take this as the complement it is intended to be. You do great videos. Thank you.

Hey Doodle, love the "girly" videos. Yes, I would like to see more "girly" videos. I liked the one in particular about when you first started riding, and how you had to overcome your fear. With many men, i think they don't understand that "anxiety" am thinking it's a normal thing amongst woman to suffer from anxiety more than men. At least my husband has never had anxiety riding. I am a new rider and am at the beginning stage of overcoming that fear now, so for now am not caring too much about my looks, but caring more if i will come back home alive,,hahaha, but definetly loving the girl content. So refreshing. I would like to know if riding has changed you in any way from the way you were BEFORE you took up riding.? Did you find yourself becoming more confident in general in life? DId riding help you overcome stress or anxiety? Am asking this because, as a female, i suffer from PMDD and it was taking over my life, but since i got the bike, i now look forward to riding it, that it gives me that wee tingle and helps me over some hard times.
