Lorrie, hi! I am all over sublimation, embroidery, and sewing! I love that I can marry all 3 and really make my products stand out!

I always enjoy your projects... you're very clear with the instructions. However, would appreciate closer camera shots and more project visible in the middle of the shot... Thank you

Love this project. Sublimation is the best thing yet. I’ve been wanting to ask. Where do you all get the very large Matt’s that you work on? Mats cost so much are these hundreds of dollars?

Just what I was looking for! I am new to the sublimation printer, waiting for my ink to arrive but trying to learn as much as possible. If I wanted to print out sublimated pictures for a quilt, which method would I use? Is it very stiff after it is in a quilt, and would it be difficult to quilt through the Photos while Longarming the Quilt?

With polyester fabric, instead of adding shape flex to stabilize, could you just go ahead and use fusible fleece to save on materials? Or, would the sublimation heat be too high and melt the fleece?

I'm really enjoying your sublimation technique videos. My question is: when do you use parchment and when butcher's paper? Are they used interchangeably or do they each have a specific purpose?
@LorrieNunemaker4 жыл бұрын
Great question. I am not sure i have the right answer but I found the butcher paper is more absorbing so with the poly t I prefer parchment so the product gets pushed into the fabric in lieu of soaked up by the butcher paper. As far as for protection of your press from the ink - both work. I think the butcher paper tends to provide more protection as far as high heat (especially with delicate materials). So mostly I use either/or unless I’m using poly t then I opt for parchment. Just make sure your garment is completely dry before pressing.

On the poly fabric, is that the same thing as Spun Polyester Poplin? Or are you using a knit polyester? I order this from you link but it isn't stretchy like yours.

Does using the paint roller pull moisture away from the fabric??

I maybe missed hearing this in the video, are you printing the photos with your laser printer on plain white printer paper or something special?

So what do we use if we xon't have one of the presses you have?
@LorrieNunemaker4 жыл бұрын
EasyPress or heat press sublimation is not recommended with irons

Lorrie, can I ask you please from where you purchased your heat press stand? I need the extra drawer space but also the top for my press. Thank you

Sabrina Charette the exact one is not available at this time. I just ordered a second one that is similar but it may be too high for your press to sit on top. This is not the one I have In the video. It’s new new updated version go.magik.ly/ml/y11s/

Ty Lorrie I’m going to try to make some for gifts❤️ I have a QUESTION. Do you use your the creative studio to print out your designs? I see you have a sawgrass printer so I was just wondering. I bought a SG printer and after looking at more and more videos I am under the impression that you have to use their software in order to use their printer for sublimation prints. Please clarify this for me🙏🏽Thank you in advance.
