How to Sublimate on Acrylic

Hi - your A-sub paper doesn't stick to this substrate? I find that my Espon Sub paper (supplied with my F150) will sometimes stick. Just wondering if I should try the Asub paper. Also, I appreciate the info/hint for the -.01 adjustment to the cut file for the stand. Thx!

Hello, darling sign! I haven’t started sublimating yet, so I’m curious if you needed to cut away the excess paper after you heat pressed?

Nope the ink leaves the paper and goes into the project blank :)

Question: When I load my AI svg file into glowforge, it doesn't keep my measurements. How do you keep the exact measurements on yours? Example, I'm cutting on 8x10 acrylic sheets, (file reflects that size) but when I load the path in, they are small (like 3 inches.)

Hi anytime I’m doing acrylic blanks I get tape marks 😢 not sure what I’m doing wrong any ideas ? Please x

FYI: you can sublimate on any clear acrylic and then paint the back white, works great.

sigh i got some melting on my acrylic with this temp and time.

@@kellyking4258 Are you using the same PYD life sublimation acrylic? This acrylic is specifically made to handle heat.
