I have 2 fiddle leaf fig trees and I agree with what you are saying. Moving them a little bit to get more sun helps alot. I have them facing north side window but when its really sunny I will take them out for a few hrs to soak up the direct sun. Kind of a treat for the plants. Also Im gonna try feeding them more fertilizer ( fish kind) like you. I currently use superthrive or miracle growth. Great video!

I've always loved your hair care videos but I am LIVING for your plant content. I'm a new plant mom and it is great. I have five plants now (snake plant, a small African mask, and three succulents). I treated myself (ordered today on Etsy) to a monstera cutting, a small zz and a small rubber plant. If I can manage to keep them all alive and well, I will be so happy. A fiddle fig, bird of paradise and a Chinese evergreen are on my short list. Thank you so much for all the tips! p.s. Maybe you can do a repotting/finding the right planter video in the future. Thanks!❤️

Great video I have had mine's for approximately 2 1/2 month's so far so good I have it outside for now during the summer in bright indirect light it also has 2 baby stems as well as. a large stem thinlking about repotting because the soil is always dry got lucky and ran across a woman from Florida who was in the parking lot selling many plants$20 wasn't bad for a 3ft plant: Up date just repotted my plant however the main stem is bent probably will have to get a stake to make it grow straight

We’re having a heatwave right now so I move my plants according to where the sun is and then I close the door of that room so I can keep that blind open but keep the heat out the rest of my apartment if that makes sense.

If frank ever needs a friend or is ever thirsty let me know. He’s fine af. Mines name is figgy. Lmfao. I’ve had him since spring & I let him dry out almost completely and he is doing fine. Water def depends on size, sun, the plant & soil. I wake up thinking about him so it’s become natural to just check his soil. Mine has only dropped one leaf. My favorite thing to do is wipe him down with some water & get him glowing. I like the shake method btw. Do you ever plan to propagate frank? Figgy has grown so much that I don’t think clipping him would hurt him as much as it would hurt me.

Look for Facebook groups for plants near you. Much better than shopping online IMO
@michelea23264 жыл бұрын
Online plant shopping is the best way to get plants that aren't common in your area or big box stores. Groups are nice but you're limited to what shows up in your group (but still a good option as well). Shopping for plants online gives you unlimited options. I highly recommend Etsy shops with good reviews (I personally prefer shops out of California and Florida).
@renegadetherapist56644 жыл бұрын
@@michelea2326 I also like EBAY, from sellers I know who have good reviews. A lot of plant "shops" sell on both ebay and etsy and you can look for the better buy for the same plant!
