I wish more people showed support and understanding as well. I think if people had more understanding it would have helped me realise i have autistic traits sooner.

I prefer autism acceptance month instead of awareness, but awesome series! I can’t wait to see more.

Well said! My partner and I have been together for 32 years. He has my back all of the time. I eat the same thing at work also and when I go to a restaurant I order the same thing😀. Like you said, I know what I like.

Aww see to me that's not even weird that's just being logical and just you being you.

I also do not do social things with coworkers. I have iced tea and a salad at 11:00 everyday. people always say "aren't you tired of salad and iced tea" which confuses me. why would I be tired of it?

I think people could have more patience, especially at work. Sometimes it takes me a few times to get the hang of something. Partly trying to fit in the routine of whatever and/or short term memory loss. Great video!

Just listening on my lunch break at work; I couldn’t agree more with everything, Andy! 😀 Support is very important; there’s a lot of lack of support and positivity within the community, and individuals too. I’m lucky at work because I’m working with colleagues with learning difficulties but they have different traits (if it’s right, if it’s not, sorry) like Autism and Down’s Syndrome too. We are all understanding and feel included and this is why I believe the rest of the world should be like. Cannot wait to see tomorrow’s video as always, Andy; you’ve done amazing and put a lot of hard work into all the videos this week 🙂🦋✨

I believe in doing research to understand autism in general but also understanding people individually. This helps me understand my wife better and other autistics.

I am autistic and have ADHD and not many understand the executive functioning part and people think I am lazy. It is so unfair I wish people had more education.

Okay am I the only person who finds it difficult to switch between interacting with different groups of people? Like I find it hard to go quickly go from talking to one group of people to the next 😅

Socialization is the problem and how to understand social cues. How do autistic kids become socially successful in the middle school? Grade 6th-8th in USA.
